Junebug, while it is certainly true that a woman needs to protect herself against unwanted pregnancy, she should not bear that responsibility alone. Just because we don't carry the child for nine months and can probably walk away leaving the woman to raise the child on her own, does not absolve of us of the equal responsibility to make sure that the unwanted pregnancy doesn't happen. I hope that all men don't share your opinion. Perhaps you need to have your "Man Card" reviewed. In my opinion, your statement was immature and ill conceived. |

If I was a woman I would take all of the responsibility upon myself to use birth control, or do whatever it takes to not get pregnant and be a single mother. We can't blame others for the directions that our lives take. |

"If I was a woman I would take all of the responsibility upon myself to use birth control, or do whatever it takes to not get pregnant and be a single mother. We can't blame others for the directions that our lives take." You can't be serious. So asking the man to take equal responsibility for birth control is should not be a consideration? Please put down the pipe, the joint, the glue and the meth. It's clear by your statement that you feel all of the responsibility should be on the woman. Cats like you will be the first one who screams "She told me she was on birth control" if the woman gets pregnant. Ohhhhhhh, I forgot, some cats don't like to use condoms. So if the woman gets pregnant it ain't your fault! All you wanted was some punana. So you just walk away and blame the woman for getting pregnant. Ladies if you are willing to give a man some punana who thinks like this, you are screwing someone with the mentality of a "boy." Dayum! Yes ladies! Please! Protect yourselves by not getting involved with mentally challenged men. |

It all boils down to personal responsibility, as black people we got to stop blamming other people for our bad decision making.
