Tayter80 they see race differently, Obama criticized Black Nationalism for their hard stance on white people. A black person with 2 black parents wouldn't get offended by Black Nationalism
This still does not answer my question, and when did Pres. Obama criticize black nationalism?
Obama criticize Black Nationalism in his Autobiography, he said he's ok with their do for self message but he's against how they speak against white people evil. By him having a white mother, that's probably why he took offense. That's a difference that an African American would have from a mixed person

So you are saying that African Americans see all white people as evil??
No I'm saying that because Obama has a white mother, he took offense to what Black Nationalist were saying about whites
I see...

I find offense when people say ignorant things about anyone's race; especially if you make generalizations about any culture. He is the President of the U.S.; not just our President people. He represents all of us. President Obama was BORN IN KENYA by the way....

Boss Hogg Obama didn't know his black father, he was raised by white people and that had to have an effect on him

A black child that's raised in an influent white neighborhood, is going to see things differently than a black child that's raised in a poor black neighborhood

That's not necessarily true. I didn't move to the 'hood' until my adolescent years. Prior to that, I was raised in a predominantly white neighborhood by my grandmother and white grandfather and was almost always the only BLACK student in school. This had no effect on my view of white/BLACK people, depite the fact that I was ridiculed by my BLACK brothas and sistas for speaking proper English. There are BLACK children raised by BLACK parents, who have no clue about their history. You don't know what his mother instilled in him. She surely didn't teach him to hate BLACK people; seeing as his wife and children are BLACK....

OK...and that's one example. You can't say that's how it ALWAYS is. How many BLACK MEN who were RAISED by BLACK parents claim they DON'T date BLACK WOMEN either.....So....

If Dennis Rodman had been raised by black people, his thinking would be totally different

Did you not read what I said? There are BLACK people (on this board actually) who do not embrace their culture either and were born and raised by BLACK parents. If your logic was accurate, President Obama wouldn't be married to a BLACK woman, right? You're making no sense..

Yes, i realize this, however, there is audio of his grandmother confirming this. Obama's mother was near the end of her pregnancy and unable to travel by plane, so Obama was born in Kenya. The family then traveled to Hawaii and registered the birth and submitted the newspaper announcement.

Even if it isn't true, him not being raised by BLACK parents has no relevance on his understanding of BLACK culture.
