Behinddgates I'm not voting for that reason Black people in the 60's voted because they expected politicians to pass Civil Rights Laws. But black people today are told to vote, and not demand anything from the people that they voted for Hell if that's the case then I can stay at home and not vote |

Here is what I know and believe. When we, black folks, were denied the right to vote the idea of having a voters test came about simply to prevent us from voting because the racist powers that be at that time knew not many of us could read and write. Black folks were determine to read and write like never before so we could prove once again no matter what was said and done about us we could do anything. Now imagine if they took your position today where would we be? Stop looking at obama he isn’t the problem its those who you don’t see that controls him they are the problem. Now here is how we stop lying politicians ask them what want they do. |

Black people in the 60's wanted to vote because they thought they could put politicians in office that would fight for us. They thought they could put politicans in office that would fight for our causes That's why black people wanted the right to vote Black people turned out in record numbers to vote for Obama, and now those blacks are being told that they shouldn't expect anything from him. They are being told they need to do something for themselves Well hell you don't need to vote to do that Edited by Damn Right, Jul 28 2010, 07:34 PM.

Obama was the white democrats who play black folks like a fiddle dream. He posed no threat because of his hue. You had white folks suggesting when listing to him they had this tingly feeling running down their legs, sounds like pee to me, suggesting when he spoke he didn’t sound black. You know you heard it. So he is/was their pimp to pimp the black vote and he did what any pimp does he LIED! Now because black folks were so simpleminded about thee “historical moment” they didn’t do their homework on Obama. To many wanted just a black man/woman so bad they didn’t care about his baggage and if he actually did anything he said he did in the past. Now you are upset and mad because if you voted for him you got pimped by them and him. Lesson learn just because you look black doesn’t equate to you having my back..... |
