:-/ So many things so many things.....society beating down on our black men for one.....the black famlies broke down in the middle 70's......

Hotep....list is great indication of the break down in the black homes....

Why got to find solutions, that has to be our focus now.
I agree...Both black men and women are to blame....however Nat in the sixtey's black men were providers of their families....wasn't no cheating with the woman down the street....black men did not turn to drugs either when times got hard.....he turned to his woman and they made the best of what they had.................. :-/

I just hope that things hasn't gone so far that we can't turn things around, because at this point we have to totally change the minds of black people in order to turn things around.

And this is going to be a hell of a job

Along with that comes responsibility, because if a man has unprotected sex with a woman
and produce a child. Then he has a responsiblilty to take care of that child, and he has to pay child
support or go to jail

So it's more than a booty call, you better know what you're doing

I have to differ on this statement. People were just more discrete about what they did back then. Familes keep secrets, but I know plenty of famlies where the older men of the family have children that were birth outside of their family.

Toya I disagree with that black people were getting married back then, unlike today.
In my opinon black people had more morals back then than black people do today. The crazy things that you see black people doing today, black people in the 50's and the 60's wasn't doing that

Yeah, you're right. They did marry but they were creeping too.
