Ok Deacon; you ( and Steve Harvey) dated in the 60's & 70's.......I know some things are eternal but; TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND SO HAVE THE WOMEN. In your day; were there as many black lesbians? AIDS? Single parent homes? etc, etc........We are (Blackmen under 40) dealing with a paradigm shift that your generation created (women being heads of households/breadwinners/big mouth know it alls, etc).....and it's garbage. You left us with crap to work with. Your generation (Civil Rights Babies) lost respect from Blackwomen and have left my generation with.......the garbage to clean up. Your generation of Black men (Boomers - Civil Rights Babies) failed to do anything for anyone but.........yourself. You stayed married; but you raised a daughter who is good........for no man. You got a great job (affirmative action); but you didn't hire any young black MAN to take your place. Your template for dating/marriage did not reach the masses and was based on making a large amount of money in order to exploit the masses That is why Police Officers, Firemen and school teachers get passed over for Rappers and athletes ..............
