we hate each other because we're both in f'ed up situations. but we dont have sympathy for what's been done to us in this country ... we want the perfect person who has arisen from the b.s. that's going on all around them. henceforth most of us are single and women are raising the kids. we have to be able to be sensitive to the black situation in america when we date each other. if we don't ... we will become extinct as africans in this country.
Are we looking at the WILLIE LYNCH syndrome

Where in order to make people slaves, you put the male against the female.

You put the young against the old, you put the light skin blacks and against the dark skin blacks
you put the educated blacks against the uneducated blacks, you put the rich blacks against the
poor blacks

You keep them fighting each other and white people stay it power, so could it be the
Willie Lynch syndrome that's keeping Black men and Black women divided.
"The Making of a Slave" - the Willie Lynch Syndrome. Unfortunately, it is the Genesis of African-Americans and our relationships with our women/family. Defeat the effects of the Syndrome and we will have enlightenment.

They should have had an older couple on that panel, somebody on that panel that has
been married for 50 years or more, so they could tell us what it takes to have a successful relationship or marriage

None of the people on that panel have succesful marriages

Lets take a look

1. Jacque Reid she's never been married

2. Steve Harvey has been married 3 or 4 times

3. Sherri she's not married

4. Hill Harper is not married

5. I don't think that other brother is married either

6. and that other lady that's co-hosting her name is Vicky Mabrey, and she is divorced

So nobody on that panel has a history of being in a successful marriage, none of them have been in a marriage that lasted over 20 years

Thanks for the videos they all had very good points, I love Steve lol.
And Marcus I think the panel was just fine the way it was, want to know why? Showing a married couple would show what worked for them, every one agrees that black men and women are divided and that we need to communicate. That's what the panel was showing people discussing real problems in our community, problems the women had men answered and vice versa.

Marcus no ones perfect. Does it really matter who's on the panel long as they got their points across to each other?

I think Marcus has a valid point, in order to become a successful basketball it would be wise
to talk to Michael Jordan

If that panel had an older Black couple that had been married for 50 years, they could tell us younger people what it took for them to make their marriage work.

In AFRICA the youth go to the elders for wisdom, they sit at the feet of the elders and the elders
pour knowledge into them. But in America the youth don't respect the elders, and they don't want to hear what the elders have to say

And we can see the result of that, just look at how messed up our communities are.

The people on that panels they don't know what it takes to have a succesful marriage, they haven't been in one. They are fishing for ideas, why fish for ideas when we have the elders still here with all of their wisdom
