I have no idea how they would manage "witout weave". Is that some type of perfume? Does your black boyfriend have any gold teeth? |

It's not as common as finding an extension or piece of track in a woman head but it's not as uncommon either. Allure did a beauty survey I thought that was interesting. |

Really? So we are competing with white women now? Funny little big as woman you are. Why do white people tan? Seems like you are competing with us. You don't like your ugly pale skin? You know this is the closest you will ever get to brown. White has NEVER been the standard of beauty, where in the hell did you get that from? LOL! Black women are no different than any other woman, who likes versitility. You dye your hair, you streak your hair, you get extensions/weaves/ponytales etc...,you straighten your hair, you get curly perms, so what the fuck is the difference? You guys are stupid as fuck and I feel just as dumb for responding to the foolishness. Grow up and get out of your small hick town and explore the world. It might just open your mind to something different then sitting home having babies with your cousin Jeb. |

idiot guy again!!.. let`s hear your thought on this Island’s Genetic Quirk: Dark Skin, Blond Hair http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/08/science/another-genetic-quirk-of-the-solomon-islands-blond-hair.html Island’s Genetic Quirk: Dark Skin, Blond Hair By SINDYA N. BHANOO In the Solomon Islands, about 10 percent of the dark-skinned indigenous people have strikingly blond hair. Some islanders theorize that the coloring could be a result of excess sun exposure, or a diet rich in fish. Another explanation is that the blondness was inherited from distant ancestors — European traders and explorers who came to the islands. But that’s not the case, researchers now report. The gene variant responsible for blond hair in the islanders is distinctly different from the gene that causes blond hair in Europeans. “For me it breaks down any kind of simple notions you might have about race,” said Carlos Bustamante, a geneticist at Stanford University. “Humans are beautifully diverse, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.” Dr. Bustamante and his colleagues published their findings in the current issue of the journal Science. The researcher analyzed saliva samples from more than 1,000 islanders, looking closely at a subset of the samples — from 43 blond and 42 dark-haired islanders. They were soon able to identify the single gene responsible for the variance in hair color. Called TYRP1, the gene is known to influence pigmentation in humans. The researchers also found that the variant of TYRP1 that causes blond hair in Solomon Islanders is absent in Europeans’ genomes. “Here you go into an unstudied population with a small sample size and you can really find some cool things,” Dr. Bustamante said. “So what about other places, like what about light pigmentation in parts of Africa? How do we not know the genetic basis of skin and hair pigmentations across the globe?” He and his team hope to raise more money to further analyze the Solomon Islands data. |

Yea im sure. black women want to be white soo bad eh? I think you are jealous because black women can be so versatile with their hair and we could probably pull off a blonde wig better than you can. But let me just mention something- This ad doesnt highlight the 'WHITE WOMEN' that have gotten lip implants/butt implants to look lik us, copy our black attitude/music/culture, date black men? THEY GET FAKE SUNTAN TO BE DARKER? THE LIST IS ENDLESS................... I think we all are people and we all are equal- WHY IS HAIR SUCH A BIG DEAL? ITS HAIRR?!!!!!! Being suntanned and darker is the fashionable way to look for white women. But as you say, we are all people under our skins. |
