What would those women think of the way that black women are dressing and acting today
They would be disappointed

Outraged, that a black woman would degrade herself in such a manner. Over-displaying your body does not command respect. The same goes for guys showing their crack with pants 10 sizes too big. In order to receive respect you have to show yourself worthy of the same. Black women of famous husbands knew from jump what they were facing and it was a conscious decision they had to make which would determine if they had it in them to ride the tide. I admired Coretta King to the utmost. Her life was in jeopardy constantly as well as her children. She held her head high, never giving MLK a reason for concern about her faith in God or him. It takes a special woman to fill that role and thank God we have the most brilliant black woman as first lady in the WH. Without her the Pres. would be lost. She's special beyond words, because if it had been me in her position, I would have exploded on a number of people because I'm just that hot headed when it comes to someone abusing someone I love.

Malcolm X wife had to raise 6 kids alone, she was pregnant with twins when Malcolm X was killed

Dr. Kings wife had to raise 4 kids alone

Neither one of those women remarried

Again talking about women from 3 generations ago. Could any you be a man like any of these men? Could any of you be as strong as these men, without complaint??

Why would take a woman to make you a strong man? Are you a weak man before you meet this woman?

You got to read the Autobiography of Dr. King, he said that his wife made him the man that he was. He said that his wife was stronger than he was when it came to the struggle
