If you can only name one person who looks semi-OK from a mixed union to stake your claim that they are all beautiful then you're horrible at this. Besides, you're only focusing on a known celebrity. You go to the areas I've been in and you'll find the same damn thing. Just like any other group of people, there are some pretty women who come from interracial couples and then there's some God-awful horrible looking women who come from said unions. Just like everywhere else. |

I have learned that no matter how mixed you are, you are black at the end of the day, I am mixed - my father is Spanish and my mother is Indian but when it comes to putting me in class of race - I am black and I do not mind, because black is also beautiful. No matter what race you are, once you are beautiful inside, you are beautiful in general. All these beautiful mixed actors and actress shows the world that the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes and here is no doubt that I know who I am, but does my race change the person that I am. We all share one race — Humanity. My country is a little island in the Caribbean and from the time people hear an small island, they automatically believe that it is an island with African people of different tribes, however it is not so, my country is a place of mixed races, when outsiders come into my country they are all shock to see that there are beautiful people of different races called Indians, Spanish, Chinese, Africans, Europeans/Caucasians and mixed-race who are all Trinidad and Tobago 'Nationals'. As they say in my country Trinidad and Tobago "Let every creed and race find an equal place and my God Bless our Nation." |

I could answer that question for you Elle, YES!, because it is not about the race of the person but the change for good that one person could make for his or her country. And reality is that even though his mother is White, he will always be brand by the world as a black man because of the fact that his father is black. No matter how mixed you are, once there is black in you, you are black. |

Unlike the term biracial, which often is only used to refer to having parents or grandparents of two different races, the term multiracial may encompass biracial people but can also include people with more than two races in their heritage, or also may refer to the origin of more generationally distant genetic admixtures of more than one race in a person's DNA. But the reality is that a lot of ignorant people in this world brand mixed people who has African ancestry "Black". And I am speaking out of experience since I am of mixed races and have travel around the world with people branding me as a black person, but I do not mind, because black people are also beautiful too. Yet, Once you have black in you everyone, not black people alone or white people alone but everyone of different races will quicker say that you are black, brushing of the fact that they have white in their blood or mixed with any other race. So yes it might be disrespectful but it is there and the world will never change, sad but true. |
