He probably had a hard life because his parents had one and should not have brought him into the world unprepared. He saw drugs, guns, violence and fell into the same trap. His future appears to be jail or death.

He's here now so what can the community do for him?

I don't think the community can do anything. He's immune to those people. He needs to be sent to a place away from family and friends like a boot camp or something similar to help build self esteem and respect.

Children do not ask to be born, so they come into the world wondering what will happen to them. If the baby is a product of a one nite stand then that child will likely grow up to be very angry, hurt, bewildered, lost. The sperm/egg donors in these cases are not "in the mood" to take care of another human being for the next 50 years.

The child grows up with no overt signs of love, protection, nurturing, encouragement etc. Very nasty piece of reality. For years society has placed the blame on the child temselves, not realizing that child is not responsible for his/her existence. The blame rests solely on the "donors" Young girls donating eggs, young boys donating sperm without any regard to the out come of a faulty raincoat if one is used at all. End results, a child is born and that's all. He/she is left to their own devices of how to survive. And if the mother /father is working there is not much left for the child because they have to buy the 10" fingernails first and get the mop done or buy the 26" wheels first then the rent takes up the rest. If either are on AFDC the child sees little to none of that either. The donors are still in the same bag , priorities are all screwed up and the child is left to fend for themselves then everybody in the community wants know why is that child so "bad"? The child isn't bad, he/she is starved for everything that makes up life. A home, security, love, food, clothing, love, nurturing, love, structure, love. I keep repeating love because that's the most important factor for a childs well being. Then when none of these things in life appear for them they become so confused, I can imagine some of them saying to themselves, "I didn't ask for this, why am I even here" Then anger takes over, angry at the world because the donors neglected their duty. My question to all the donors out there is; if you spent your childhood full of torture and resentment then why would you put an innocent little baby thru the same hell? It's difficult for me to understand how this behavior is perpetuated generation after generation.

You are right, at that age you have to blame his PARENTS for what he is. If that same kid had different parents he would be totally different
