Posts: 277 Group: Members Member #326 Joined: Jan 20, 2010	If your mate was cheating would you want someone to tell you or would you prefer not to know? I know that usually everyone around you knows what's going on and the person that's being cheated on is the last to know.

Deleted User	I think the person being cheated on should be the first to know. I think it's sheisty to gossip about someone being cheated on and not tell them. I'd want someone to tell me. It may be unbelievable in the beginning but at least you can look for evidence to confirm or debunk the rumors.

It may be unbelievable in the beginning but at least you can look for evidence to confirm or debunk the rumors. that's exactly how I feel...I would want to know...b/c when it came to light and I found that so many people around me knew about it and was smiling in my face and talking to me the whole time I would be upset with everyone...I would kind of feel betrayed by everyone who knew but didn't tell me...I would rather just feel betrayed by the person that cheated on me instead of feeling betrayed by so many...but in so many cases it seems like everyone around knows but no ones telling the person that's being cheated on...they're telling everyone but the person that needs to be told

Deleted User	Laying in the bushes is a bit extreme but there are cyber-spying techniques that one could employ should they have reason to question their spouse's fidelity. Also, I feel the same way you do Fashion in that if everyone knew but me and I knew it, I'd tell them all to piss off. To me, friends look out for your well being instead of talking about you and yours behind your back.
