I guess I am open to the idea of interracial dating, however, I notice that many black men who date white women, make sure that they are seen (by black women) with their white girls. Sort of like an "in your face" moment - now that is pitiful; and I agree with the person that said something like: If you find a white girl, fine, but why do you have to put down black women? It's unnecessary and shows a self-hatred or a deep seated hurt the man hasn't healed from. I guess I just weep for the black race, we will soon be obsolete. And don't write back saying, "we're not 100 % black anyway OR "if you have one drop of black in you, your considered black.... OR the kids will be half black and therefore black." The TRUTH of the matter is that ANYTIME you have a union of White woman and Black man OR White man and Black woman, it's the white lifestyle that takes precedence. These couples are more likely to live in a predominantly white neighborhood, children more likely to attend predominately white schools, etc. We (blacks) meld into their way of living; it's rarely the other way around (unless you cannot afford better). |

I will stick to my own, I'm good. We have a plethora of options in our own community (black that is), we have light skin (yellow, redbone, bright light), dark skin, brown skin, and etc). We have super thick, medium thick, plain fat, skinny, and etc. We have short hair, bald head, halle berry style, long natural hair, braids, lock (dread locks) and of course the weave heads. Man please we have too many options! I also want to recommend reading a book entitled "Nature Knows No Color-Line" by J.A. Rogers. One of my problems with interracial dating is the mentally that shapes when a 'black' man or woman dates a white man or woman. They develop this 'the grass is greener' on the other side mentally. Than start making generalization about their own race. I have NEVER heard a white man or woman down talk their own race simply because they are fucking, dating, married or whatever a black man or woman. Which leads me to conclude that self hatred is deep rooted in some black men and woman and it manifests itself through their behavior/dating. Of course, white women and men enjoy this shit because the person they are dating talks down about the 'black' community and exposes them to stuff they have no business showing them, and etc. The white people they are dating aren't going to say shit or express their real/true feelings simply because they don't want to offend anybody. It's interesting though because those same white people than develop this confidence like they know about 'black' people now. So, in turn you find them on black websites (, moving in our communities, eating our food, wearing our clothes, trying to talk like us, act like us, and ect. In my opinion, the people who interracially date in the black community are just as responsible as those whites who they date can not be trusted nor should their opinions about the so-called 'black' community be considered because they have been 'watered down' & white washed. |

Not everyone who dates outside their race has this 'I hate black people/myself' mentality. Just these morons on here that think that white women are the cure to all the black man's problems. |

I just wish the pattern could be broken. Say what you want, I believe there are some elements of self-hatred involved when you can't see love in BLACK. |
