I find it interesting that you think black men should ONLY date black women, yet you said that monogamy is unnatural. |

That's because we're Americans. Despite how much some of us try to "go back" to whatever roots we think are representative of ourselves as beings, we still have the trappings of America. We were raped of our native culture and created a Frankenculture that we used to survive the conditions we were placed in. Some of that would change if we move outside of this country and into a country where where whatever our beliefs of Africanism are permeate that landscape. Frankly, I don't care whether or not we embrace our "roots". I'm mostly from one basic ethnic group (as I'd assume most people in this country are) with bits of others dropped in. I do care that we become more positive influences in this society, and not the comedy acts, whether intentional or not. Somewhat related, does anyone else find it interesting that America is synonymous with the United States? It's not even synonymous with North America, but the whole of this continent. Maybe it's different outside of this country. |

Exactly. When I was ready to get married, I was nobody's woman when it came to race. I wanted to be able to choose from the whole world. As it was, I fell in love with a man that is black. He could have been ANY shade/color/race; I still would have fell madly in love with him. Had I limited myself to a person that was the same shade as I am, I would have missed out on so much. |

I'm just being silly here. But it would be funny if folks would use that as a tatoo. Just imagine you are walking down the street, and a white chick has "white mans woman " across her chest, or better yet on the small of her back.

You aren't honey! My sarcasm again. But I have experienced this where some black men were just excited that they got a white woman. It was an ego stroke for them. |
