I listen to Obama when he speaks and it's plan english. He uses common terms. I understand everything he's saying. He speaks directly to the people of his land and I appreciate him even more. He jokes...he has a personality and I love him for that. Our youth can watch our president speak and understand what his plans are for their future. When he speaks of his wife you can tell it's genuine. What do you think???

Yes, I agree. I enjoy watching President Obama speak. I thought it was so cool how he went to the House of Republicans (GOP) yesterday and did the Q/A. That was classic, lol. I do agree that President Obama has a good sense of humor, but for some reason I always laughed the most while listening for President Bush and Senator John Mccain speak.

It was too sad when that African American boy ask President Obama why do people hate him about several months ago. I thought that Obama handled that question with great poise and spoke to boy on his level intellectually.

Speaking clearly doesn't make a competent president.

I'm not a huge John McCain fan, but why did hearing him speak cause you to laugh? McCain is an American hero, he deserves the respect of all. You must not know much about him.

"Speaking clearly doesn't make a competent president."
It's one of several attributes that's needed to be considered a competent president which ole' georgie boy clearly lacked.

I loved that computer game about ole' georgie boy. It believe it was called "let's see if we can put a brain in George's head" Boy, it was so difficult to put a brain in that empty head.

"McCain is an American hero"
Ha! McCain was a POW. He is a shame to America. So sorry if I offended someone (excluding Elle and Whiteman b/c I could care less if I offended those 2).
I never said that I didn't respect him; he's just comical to me.

Jimmy Carter did the same he was a simple man from Georgia, and he always spoke in a way
that everybody could understand. Jimmy Carter is one of the few presidents that I have
respect for, because even after he left office he's still trying to help people

Jimmy Carter build homes for the Habitat for Humanity, he build homes for poor
people that can't afford homes. Even today he goes around the world trying to bring about
peace

Jimmy Carter doesn't have to do that, he does that because he has a good heart

How is he a "shame to America"? He endured months of torture yet stayed true to his country.

Jimmy Carter was probably the worst president in recent history.
