I've had a child without being legally 'married'.

So what?

And I'm working on having more, too.

That's because I don't recognize the State as the divine intercessor that bestows 'legitimacy' on my committed relationships.
And the State does not recognize my right to have MTOWAAT.
The State, also, often makes relationship matters more difficult and costly than it has to be.

And I don't even like the sound of the word wedLOCK.
I don't want anything "locking" me up but my own honor and heart for the woman I'm with.
I bet you are a liberal because liberals don't have family values, liberals don't place a value on a man and a woman getting married before having kids, conseravtives we are big on family values.

A lot of black guys need to grow up and become men, any little boy can have sex and get a female pegnant, but it takes a real man to marry a woman a start a family with her.

Now you are starting to say things I like to hear. It took you awhile!

How does it benefit the child not to have a father in the home, men how are you benefiting your kids when you have kids living in many different homes. Just sending child support to the mother doesn't make you a man, are you there to pick the child up from school when the child get sick? Are you there for the child in the middle of the night if the child gets sick?

Hey, 'god-son', 'Newyork', & friends:
I 'get' your underlying message of advising men against causing pregnancies and thereafter abandoning the child...
But you must also 'get' my message in pointing out that the 'sperm-donor' scenario don't apply to every man who father's a child without being legally 'married' or residing in the same domicile of the child and mother 24/7/365.

There are arrangements, such as my own, that adequately meets the needs of the child(-ren) and adults, involved, as it functions much like the everyday-inhouse and 'married'-on-paper' type, without those measures actually, takened.

But that's a world you're not familiar with and, thus, can't appreciate.

So, all I can suggest is that you follow your brand of "values" and 'do you', and I'll 'do me', and we'll let the results speak for itself.
