Black males are the least adopted children in the US, how is adopting them the "in" thing to do?
I didn't say black males did I...I stated black children...and if you can't tell it is now the "IN" thing to do than something is wrong...it took one celeb to do it publicly and how many more celebs have done it and is still currently trying to do it sense.
but they won't even adopt the children in their own country. they go to Africa (now it will be Haiti) to adopt these children. and the issues I take with that is that there are so many kids here that need a home. but they'd rather get some child from another country while children here suffer.
why do you think that is??? Do you think they wont get as much publicity if they adopt black children from here???
well think about it. Who cares about our black children here? Just watch the commercials for children's charities such as Feed the Children". These folks want the fame for "rescuing" children from living in "squalid conditions". And if you adopt a black child from the system, they're not living in squalor. They're just living a different kind of hell. ok...it doesn't look as good to rescue one here b/c they don't have it as bad...now I see...makes sense

They may have it just as bad mentally and may even suffer physical abuse but the media's not going to publicize that adoption the same way because that's not as visually sensational. So why bother?

I agree..exactly and that's why I say if it was coming from their heart it would be different
