it would be good to see these white celebs that raised money for Haiti and the whites that raised money for Obama do these things if it wasn't for personal gain...look at the celebs that made it cool to adopt black children...they just wanted to be looked at...appreciated...thought of as being a better person when in all it's always about self gain with white people...not all but a lot...I go straight to the homeless myself to give...not thru charities where I can get a tax write off...Obama was put into office and has been talked about ever since when it was a white man that was originally in office and destroyed a country in 4 years...was re elected for another 4 to do more damage...I don't get it |

yeah, but on another note, i'd like to read something about Puffy/Diddy or whatever he goes by these days doing something besides throwing himself a party or getting someone pregnant. Wyclef is Haitian, so it's understandable that he supports his country. I'd like to see out people do the same. Puffy could have gone to New Orleans and changed people's lives forever. |

i know what you mean. I've lamented to many an ear that we have all these athletes and performers who make millions of dollars off of our dollars and they won't even give some of it back to the communities that support them. Next time I hear someone boohooing about bootlegging, I'm going to ask them about that! |

At the rate that Blacks are killing themselves over Air Jordans, I'd like to know what Michael Jordan has contributed to the poor communities that sing his praises and spend their last dollar on sneakers that bare his name. |

Hell, the sneakers are manufactured by Nike who sent their manufacturing to China I believe. Funny how democracy and capitalism is valued but the work is sent to Communist China and the products are manufactured in sweatshops. Tell me I'm not wrong in saying that's some bullshit. MJ knows black people needs jobs. Yet he couldn't broker a deal with Nike to have jobs here for Americans, black included? |

Once a black man so call "makes it" than he's so worried about being broke again that he tends not to share...not to think about the little people he left behind...greed than takes over...sometimes they're so eager to "make it" that they sign contracts that don't benefit them and in the end they're still broke...greed I tell you...it causes more problems than a little bit |
