It is if they want nothing to do with you because they sense that you are not on their level whatsoever. |

You can't be nice to some black women, you come out better by just not even speaking to them. Black people in the 60's use to call each other Brothers and Sisters. But that was when Black people use to love each other. Edited by Miami, Jan 13 2010, 08:23 PM.

Let me put it in context. With all the stuff that a lot of us go through with our blood family, we're not trying to claim anybody else as family who is not on our level because we don't want to be associated any more than necessary with stupidity. |

In the 1960's Black people called each other brothers and sisters, but that was when we had love for each other. It doesn't seem like black people have love for each other anybody, and it shows in our community. |

I hope black people in America see blacks in Haiti as our brothers and sisters, because they need our help. I see blacks in Haiti as my brothers and sisters. |

Calling someone brother or sister would indicate a more intimate relationship than what actually exists. At best, you and I would be distant cousins. Extremely distant. |

People in the Black Power Movement we call black people brothers and sisters. Even in church they call each other brothers and sisters, why would a black person be offended at being called brothers and sisters. |
