It's not like I called her Bitch I called her sister. I was trying to be nice
and show her that I see us as family. It's sad when your own Black people
will get upset with you for calling them sister.

The Black woman that said I'm not her sister, this is some of what she said
to me

(I copied and pasted her comment below)

No I don't see all Black people as my family. That's the same type of nonsense that leads the rest of America to believe that all Black people speak for and represent each other.

I have a real family. Then I have my Spelman sisters and Morehouse brothers that I consider family. I feel kinship with my fellow AKA sorors and all other members of the Divine 9 fraternities and sororities. Then I have Christian brothers and sisters. Some of my fellow 1Ls at law school I consider family. I feel kinship with some Americans, and I feel kinship with some Blacks.

I feel kinship with people that I share commonalities with. I don't feel kinship to people who don't strive to do better for themselves or their families, or those who fail to act responsible. That's regardless of a persons race.

So what's the problem with that? She sounds like she has good sense.

Brothers might as well date outside their race, beacuse black women don't see us
as their brother.

Geechie so you don't see Black people as your brothers and sisters?

In the 60's Black people use to call each other brothers and sisters,
but we had MORE LOVE for each other back then
Let's try to keep Hope a live.

We are accomplishing things so rapidly we may be failing to give God the Glory.

Olmec when I call black men brother they never get offended. When I meet a black man I say hello brother, I'm showing them that I see them as family. No black man has ever got offended at me for calling him brother. So why did this black woman get upset with me for calling her sister.

She read other posts of yours and decided she didn't want to be associated with you at all.
