Last Black man that was a great comment, I like the way that you used and example from your own life to break it down.

First of all, young black males are choosing to be uneducated, thugs, bangers, etc. If they are creative enough to rap, make it on the streets, make money or whatever they choose to be then they should be smart enough to understand that they are going nowhere in life without an education. When i was a baby, in elementary school and couldn't do for myself my mother was responsible for me. As a teenager i knew right from wrong and made good decisions. I had no father and that's no excuse. At 15-18 years old you're only job is to go to school, PERIOD. If you are a parent of a teenager whom hasn't brought home a report card in 3 years, your azzz should be put in jail. You have failed. The community can't do squat for someone whom doesn't want to be helped.
A lot of the young brothers in the streets are very smart, even if they don't have a college degree. Jay Z dropped out of high school, but he one of the smartest business men in the music industry. As a high school drop out how did Jay Z learn those business skills? Jay Z is the exception, not the rule.

Jay Z is the exception, not the rule. You self-hating idiot. JayZ is not the exception.
JayZ got rich and wealthy by helping Jews/getting rewarded by the Jews for his aiding them in their mission to destroy an entire generation of Black males through sick, vile, self-destructive rap culture according to JayZ's slot in being the music industry's top leader in it since arrrround 2000-'01

It is time for to take my belt off and issue some loving discipline up in here. After much thought, I think I have come up with the proper way to see what I need to see and may be it will open some eyes. I did not come here to point fingers, but try to offer some insight about the situation in the black community and why we will continue to have problems until we change our though process.
I will begin by saying, Ladies the old saying is true that behind every success man is great woman. I am going to put it to you like this men are very simple creatures and we respond best to what is taught and observed. Let step back about 50 – 60 years ago, when black males were going to college, trade school, and the military in hopes of a better life for himself and future family. Men were driven to be better because their parents instill in them a sense of proud and hard work, but the strongest driving force was the love of a beautiful back woman. If a man was not trying to work as a lawyer, doctor or a good manufacturing company, the women did not want anything to do with them. The women back them demand and expect that a man should try to better himself by going to work.
Let me relate a story about my father and mother. My dad say that the first time he saw my mother, he did not want any other woman and he tried to take to her; however, she did not want to have anything to do with him. Back then, he was a player and he was running the street, smoking, and drinking. In fact, he had a night club, where some of the best talent in Macon GA you to perform before they were famous. He had plenty of women and knew some famous people, but his heart was set on one woman who was not give him the time of day. One day, he say he got sloppy drunk and wake up in an alley and when he looked in the mirror the next day, it dawn on him, he saw what my mother saw and he stop drinking. My mother was never a club person, so the club had to go. He was finally able to get the woman he desired and was blessed with four sons that never been in trouble with the law, or on drugs. I share that story because it will reinforce my next few points.
The main point is, Ladies you can not change a man; you can only enhance a man. Too often get caught up in trying to change a man and make him do a 180 degree turn. It seem that men have learned a valuable lesson in this area. You will never see a man trying to make a housewife out of a ______. To many women today are trying to turn a thug into a loving husband. If the guy beat on you, steal your money, let you with children, you should not be surprise because this is what thugs do. In fact, women are indirectly responsible for this behavior because you encourage guys to be thugs because you reinforce that behavior by giving the thugs the cookies as my folks Steve Harvey will say. Guys are looking and acting thuggish because that is what attracts the women. Trust me, we can turn this whole situation around if women started dating guys that were going to school, wore slacks, and nice shirts. Guys will indirectly get the message that looking well dress will help get the woman. Right now the message that we receive is helping produce more thugs than theologians.

You make some great points, but us men need to step up to the plate as well. If we are going to demand such respect we need to deserve this respect.
Let's be honest here, men need to start doing the hard things when required under the roof of his home. If you need to take a second jobs to keep the light on, put food on the table, shoes on your child feet then man the Hell Up. This running out the damn door because you want your freedom is straight bull-shit.
If we are going to lead, then lead by example, be the first to hit the door heading to work. A good work ethic goes a long way when raising a child.
Be the first to sacrifice your needs for the good of the family.
And realize, what comes out your mouth have meaning. If trash spews from your lips then thats what you will be left to clean up.
Our duties as men of a household is to guide, protect and provide. We only lead by example and if your woman decides not to follow then maybe you are not the problem.

I don't think it has anything to do with any, plate, as America is laden with multitudes of proof that Black men hath always stepped up to the proverbial plate you mention.
Let me know too, if you need links of proofs correlating to these current Times as well as yesteryears' proofs as well.

Let's be honest about how disingenuous this is. For starters, very few Black dads who aren't in the home, are examples of guys who bounced because they wanted their freedom.
As a great majority are absent due, directly, to the veracious effect of White racism. Whether it be via Prison or halfway houses or phantom restraining orders or simply modern Black women who have joined White America's neo-Fascism agenda toward Black men including their own mates.
Plus lets not forget how your argument discounted the reality of, child support, which in fact features many a Black dad NOT living in the home...while still handling his business.
I could go on and on, with examples of how your argument peculiarly left out quite a bit of amicable reality for Black male's in America, but...I think you can see where I am going here. That's on behalf of facts and truths---plus 'Equality' which empowers them both.

Is it wise or is it our, duty, to say stuff like this and provide no meaning nor purpose nor instruction to supplement it?
For instance, as Black dads in a racist society which we have to prepare our sons for...how helpful is it to not be comprehensive in your description of duty? Or protecting and providing in a society where studies of job applicants show that White felons, I repeat, White felons are 17% more likely to get called in for job interviews than Black males with no criminal history whatsoever? How??
I mean, that's of course if you're going to just lambaste the Black people like you are doing here. At least give them some scholarship here on jumping that hurdle along with these attacks you are quick to levy onto them.
Or else, ask yourself really, how fair is that effort of yours?
Moreover, when racism's cops or it's Dylann Roofs are part of a culture to murder innocent Black churchgoers or killing UNARMED Black people today, yep, including even college students at home on short vacations or college grads on their way to start new jobs;
Then what example do you suppose was not being set, by those Blackfolk? Or their dads? Or their moms? When racism's cops or racism's George Zimmerman, came to haunt those progressive civilized Blackfolk?
...
Yes my friend, it is wise for you to stay keen to how your argument can come off like the 'peculiar institution' whenever you don't account for those of democracy's realities affecting Black America, as you gleefully attack Blackfolk.
