I just watched the second part of Black America2.....very informative and positive, really highlight the negative views we as African Americans are continually bombarded with on a daily basis.....how one person can make a great difference if following the vision that is within you.....Each of us has a specific GIFT to make positive changes in our society....our posting interesting information can help in educating others in many ways, uplift, motivate and encourage others all across this country....We as african Americans specifically have so little voice in the media, however being able to express ideas, thoughts and communicate on a broader scope through the posting online as added a great dimension. Of course the mainstream media, i.e. t.v. publications, etc would like to see the continued overt sexual postings negative communication, that way, more positive information sharing will be stifled......think we can change it? weigh in with your comments..... |

Black America sucks - because a big part of it is showing how much better Black Americans have it than Black Africans - like that's supposed to excuse the living conditions of Black Americans in the richest country of the entire planet |

I agree with you in that we need to share our gifts to make our communities and society as a whole better. And I also agree that if we share interesting information with each other that is positive in nature, we can lift ourselves to new heights as individuals and as a community. That is what so many other cultures do here and we should be engaging in like manner. Thank you for your thoughts. |

I could not watch all of it but I trust they did a good job. It is hard for me to watch these types of documentaries because I always wonder what the documentary would be like if it was written and produced for Black audiences. Our music, movies and many of our books are diluted to sell in the cross over markets. Ok, that is money. But what has been lost in our creativity? |
