First of all, since I am new, the definition for a Field Negro on the homepage of afieldnegro.com is incorrect. A field negro is just that, someone who works in the field and the master could sell them at any time.

Secondly,
As I look at the pictures of the brothers with their women, let us understand that these women would not have given them the time of day unless they had money, which the brothers obviously have.
Black men with white women want to control women, don't like their own mothers, and they cannot understand that white women always want a check!!! White women also tell everything...ala...Tiger Woods and Kobe, or white women will kill - look at Steve McNair. When brothers accept themselves and be the men we need them to be only then can they be appreciative to have a sista on their arm. American dream for a black man, back in my day, was a cadillac and a white woman. These brothers have their own issues, and probably issues with their mothers. Where did these white women come from and what have they brought to the table except their willingness to accept anything from a man to get his money. These brothers with these white women, and other races, probably treat these women better than they would treat a sister anyway. It is called self hate!
You sistas out there, be glad you don't have to deal with these guys that love white women, or women of other races other than their own. There are some terrific Black men out here who still love beautiful black women.

So not true. White women or any other race of women besides blk women are more likely to support you. Me being in college can vouch for this. I have received more support from young white women than I have from sisters. I don't know why it is but women of other races tend to see the potential in black men, the one's who are doing the right thing. Your post is complete and utter bullshit. A lot of the brothers in those pictures have had relations with blk women prior. It's no wonder why their not with them now.Black WOMEN wake up! The problem isn't us it's YOU. Change. It's that simple. Just change.
Our request is very simple, we want the same privileges every other race of man has with their women. We don't want the attitudes, we don't want the DRAMA, we don't want the endless arguements over petty shit. We don't want the BULLSHIT.

The racial/relationship dynamic with African Americans is a mixed bag, and I think we have to be careful about what message we send when we talk about interacial couples. At my age, I have learned that stupidity and smarts come in all colors, and likewise healthy and harmful relationships come in all races and mixed couples. I do believe that if sisters want to find out why black men date outside their race, they should simply ask, and be willing to absorb and accept the answer they recieve. Each time the subject comes up between me and a sister, she really is not interested in hearing me, but insist that I hear her. From there it is all downhill. If a sister won't hear a brother when he is honestly expressing himself, she should not have to wonder why the brothers are turning to women outside of our race.

Malcolm X said that he was a Field Negro, and Malcolm was a strong
Black man that didn't bow down

Malcolm X is the one who created the term House Negro and Field Negro

Yes...because we all know Black men are at the top of their games and don't need "change". It's the Black woman alone who is at fault for the decaying in the Black community. Get the fug outta here!

And then "brothas" like you wonder where that "irresponsible" label comes from. Why are insecure, WHITEWASHED ass-clowns like you even join Black heritage forums, again?

Your bio said when visiting your web site the person will learn something new. Well those photos nor your commentary taught me anything new about some black men, particularly the ballers, but it was interesting to actually see the plethora of black men and their caucasion/latino/asian counterparts.
Some black men seem to forget who was there when they were climbing the ladder of success but wasn't quite there yet, listened and related to the stories of being passed over for raises or recognition over their caucasion counterpart, consoled them when they told stories of being profiled in an exclusive store or in an exclusive neighborhood, put the world on our shoulders just so they could go back to school to better themselves, gave them back their manhood when they were demasculinized by a society that says they aren't good husband or fathers and on our knees praying for their strength. BUT as soon as they get that NBA, MLB, NFL contract, get the Hollywood acting gig or the singing contract, it's not complete without a caucasion, latino or asian girl to accompany their new found success.
Our attitudes come from the struggle and frustration that we both share as a black man and woman, the heartache and pain of not feeling wanted or appreciated and the feeling of inadequacy for not being pretty enough (according to the eurocentric definition of beauty). Couple those with money issues, lack of respect from both sides, exhaustion, in-law and baby mama drama and there's gonna be some attitudes. However, if we had the nanny, chauffeur, private fitness instructor, chef, housekeeper and was able to manage our significant others not for profit foundation from the office of our mansion, we too could be happy wives and girlfriends.

So how about paying homage to successful black men who take pride in having a black woman by their side, instead of the black men who for what ever reasons choose to not share their love and success with us. For starters our commander in chief, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Spike Lee, Jay Z, Morris Chestnutt, Chris Rock, etc.

Date whoever you want, but lets not blame each other for dating outside of our race. There are good black men and women out here. If you haven't or can't find one when do we start checking ourselves instead of making generalizations about the other gender. More importantly let's take the strides and put in the work to find that good black man/woman and mend these issues with our children so that we reduce this issue for coming generations. I mean this is not some new phenomenon in the black community and like many other things that plague us.....it's getting very old and tired. Oh yeah and the bitterness that we hold for each other is at the root of this problem. Let it gooooooo...

It would be nice to see those images. Others may not see this as an issue but I found the pictures bothersome for one particular reason. As if we are not aware of these affluent black men dating women of other races, as if there are not enough examples of this he felt the need to add pictures of men who are mixed (black/white) and some hispanic men. A brown face does not equate to blackness. Also those men who are mixed would naturally be attracted to women of both races as most of their mothers are white. This stood out to me because if you're going to make a point or put something out there uphold the validity of your arguement and refrain from mixing the issues. All I'm saying is there are enough examples, why just throw up any old brown face man. You are attracted to who you're attracted to. Don't blame the black man or the black woman for your attraction to those of other races.

I'll drink to that one. I've been posting something along the same lines in the forums tonight. If you like it, love it. But don't make excuses for it.

Placing blame based on generalizations and stereotypes based on our limited experience is so bogus. Once we've got that figured out, we can move on.

I truly do not believe we are driving our African kings away. I believe they are leaving on their own because it is easier with other ethnicities. Additionally, as previously mentioned on an earlier post, if these men where everyday common men, those types of women would not give them the time of day.

When African-American women date wealthy African-American men, we are gold diggers; on the contrary, it is acceptable for white women.
