I would like to welcome everyone to A Field Negro.Com. Malcolm X said that he was a Field Negro, and that's where
I got the name of this website from.

This site is a way to honor brother Malcolm, and all of our strong brothers and sisters.

Just heard about your site and I am happy to support your efforts. Much success to you AField Negro! I guess I really should have chosen the username AField Negroess! I must admit that I was sickened by the display of the men of African descent (Black men for the sake of definition) finding women of different descent their preferred choice. I am sure that you can balance that by a display of women of African descent (Black women) choosing men in the same vein. Between Black men choosing non-Black women and other men, regardless of color - does a Black woman really stand a chance in finding a mate? We have a monkey see monkey do attitude and because these men are prominently displayed within the American culture, it is just a matter of time that our younger Black boys seek to "be like Mike!" :(

Happy to Be THANK YOU

Malcolm X said that he was a Field Negro, and he was one of the strongest
men that I've seen. A Field Negro is just another way of saying a strong
person. So yes as a female you to can call yourself a Field Negro.

It's better to be a Field Negro, than a House Negro.

I understand what you're saying about those pictures, of interracial
couples. I want to see the Black family strong again, I want to see
brothers and sisters getting along and treating each other right.
With those pictures I'm trying to show the divide between
Black men and Black women, and then maybe we can all sit down
and admit our faults, and try to come together as brothers and sisters.

It's like when a doctor is performing surgery it's going to be painful,
but in the end it's meant to make you better.
