There are others. For example, other than ExciteBots I play Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Monster Hunter 3, Samurai Warriors 3 and Etrian III. And I just realized that all those games are third installments. T.T

SSBB is one of the games I want to hop into when I take some time off from EB. We recieved a new wii this past holiday season which is capable of playing SSBB. Since SSBB is a dual layer disc or something like that, the Wii I have been using (one I got at launch) wasn't capable of reading the disc. |

Lol, I can help you learn the game though. If you ever want to get into the competitive scene I have a good match making brawl site I could link you too.

Yeah, I remember playing Brawl. I got it back when it first came out. I remember unlocking just about everything in single player except for some of the very hardest challenges (like beating certain modes on the hardest difficulty with no continues). However, I never really got into the online very much. I basically realized early on that in order to be in any ways semi-competitive, I'd have to sink the kind of time TopStar has sunk into Excitebots into it, and I just wasn't prepared to do that. Plus, I experienced several laggy matches, but have never had problems with Excitebots, so it made me think there was something wrong with Nintendo's servers. I really enjoy playing Goldeneye online and tend to go in spurts there (when I'm not playing Excitebots). I suppose it would be best if I could balance the two, but I find it difficult to concentrate on more than one game at a time. I wanted to like Monster Hunter Tri, I really did. I wanted to get sucked in the way so many others have. However, it just didn't happen. I've thought about trying again, but I'm not sure if there would be any difference. |

You do have to "sink in" a lot of time into brawl to be decent. I should know lol. xD Do you own Monster Hunter Tri theJude? |

Well I don't want to put in 14+ months of time into it. How's the online? Is it balanced as far as skill? I probably should look into the game some more.

Online is only worth it in friends mode. As for skill, you can tell between a newcomer, average joe, semi-pro, and pro. I concur, you should look into it more.
