Evil Virtue Dynamis Rules and Information

Rules, Regulations and Things that aren't debatable, not even a little bit.

Dynamis Run Dates and times always follow the Schedule Below:

WED 7:00 PM Gather together, 8:00 PM Enter
(All times given in Eastern Time)
Note: Points accumulate beginning at the gather time, not the enter time.

Dynamis Requirements:

Before you bother reading the entire post, you must be able to answer YES to all of the following. If you can't you aren't ready for Dynamis, so don't bother.

Attain Level 65
Achieve RANK 6
Zone into Xarcabard after completing 1 & 2 above. View cutscene, next examine the trail markings at any of the starter cities to receive another cutscene. (if help is needed with getting these cutscenes feel free to ask for it and someone will point you in the right direction)
Once you've received the key item "Vial of shrouded sand", you're ready to enter Dynamis.
Must be able to attend Wed. nights on a consistent and timely basis and are able to devote 4 hours to each run.
Only level 65-75 jobs are able to enter Dynamis. If you aren't at least a level 65+ mage job, 70+ melee job, and completed all of the above, forget it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basic Area Access Information:

Bastok, Windurst, Sand’Oria, Jeuno
There are no previous clears required for these areas

Beaucidine Glacier requires you have cleared the four ‘starter’ cities. You must then revisit each trail marking location in each starting city to view an additional cut-scene before you can enter the glacier.

Xarcarbard requires a Glacier clear before entry. You will also need to check the Beaucidine Glacier Trail Markings after you clear that area for a cut scene prior to entering Xarcabard for the first time

Dynamis Valkrum, Buburimu, and Qufim
You must have completed Chains of Promathia mission 3-5 to enter these areas

Tavnazian Safehold
You must have cleared Valkrum, Buburimu and Qufim to enter this area.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basic Requirements for Dynamis:

You must decide on ONE job that will be your "primary" for the purposes of Dynamis runs. This will be the only job you are allowed to lot on for AF2/Relic gear and weapons. You may change this job at a later date if you wish according to the rules below.

This job should be the same job you are taking into Dynamis though if you have another job you would prefer to choose you may as long as that job at least 65. Those with multiple jobs at 75 or with several jobs past 65 who are asked to bring a different job into Dynamis will still lot on the job you signed up with.

PLEASE do not randomly show up with jobs other than those you signed up with. It’s frustrating to expect a WHM and have a RNG show up.

You must register for and regularly read these forums. All communications, discussions, and events will be posted here FIRST.

You must check your ego at the door the moment you equip this LS.

This linkshell is founded on a ‘no drama’ principle. The majority of the members have already graduated high school and frankly we aren’t interested in reliving the drama, ego trips, and other petty crap of our youth.
We're here to do Dynamis not get petty over who is or isn’t popular, better, more uber, or whatever. This includes personality conflicts and personal issues with other players. You, me, and everyone else are one part of a team. Get used to being no better or more important than anyone else. If you think you are, and you deserve special treatment please stop reading now and go find another linkshell, because you are in the wrong place.

You must follow directions without question.

One person’s lack of attention or failure to follow the rules can bring disaster to the entire linkshell. During a run there is no democracy, no debate and no lengthy explanations of ‘why’ will be given. Leaders will make decisions and those decisions will be considered law and everyone will act accordingly. If you want to know the reason why something was decided the way it was, you can address it after the run is over, or make a post on the forums asking for clarification. During a run is not the time to bicker over details or fine points.
In short, the LS leader/Sackholders/ Run Leader are in charge and you will follow their instructions. Even if you think they’re wrong. If you think this is unreasonable or you can’t abide by it, then you are in the wrong linkshell.

YOU WILL DIE.

You may even die often if you are under level 70 and a melee (especially if you are a PLD). You will not whine about it. If you feel you can’t afford to die or you are going to blame someone for your death, don’t bother. We aren’t interested in having you as a part of this Linkshell.

You must be able to read and write, coherent English.

English is the common language of this Linkshell and as such it is expected that any conversion appearing in party/alliance chant or in the linkshell itself will be in English. If we can’t communicate in a common language, we’re screwed.

You must be able to read and understand the in game compass.

You will be given directions such as “go north” and you must be able to understand and carry out these instructions. If you cannot, learn or don’t bother coming. You are only going to get everyone killed.

Once you have entered into a Dynamis run with this linkshell, you are expected to give that commitment priority over everything else in game. Bailing out in mid run because you want to go do something else in game won’t be tolerated.

Real life emergencies are the exception of course.
Real life comes first above all else.

You must be able to relate time zones to your local time.
ALL TIMES ON THIS LS WILL BE GIVEN IN EASTERN TIME.

Applications

There really isn’t one. We have a ‘request a pearl’ thread pinned in the forums and simply adding your name to the thread along with job levels, nation rank, and referral name, that way credit or blame can be given to that person, and main job you will be lotting on, as described in the first post is all you need to do.
We don’t judge new members on anything beyond the information the post in that thread. If you meet the requirements and we are open to new members, that’s pretty much all you need to get in.

‘Reputations’ mean nothing here.

You, and everyone else, will make your reputation with this linkshell on runs as part of the team. As such we judge each new and existing member based on the merits of his or her actions within this linkshell. We are not going to judge you based on what you did somewhere else (good or bad), and we require you not judge other members by their past actions elsewhere. If you can’t put aside personal differences or dislikes, don’t ask for a pearl. Every member here is an equal. Period.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BASIC RULES

Punishment for breaking these rules (in General):

You will be instructed to drop your linkpearl and hourglass if you violate any rules during a raid. If you do so, then we’ll be happy to talk to you at a later date about the problem and whether or not you will be allowed back. Every person is allowed to make their case, but not during an actual event. There is simply too much else going on and too many other people to keep organized.
However If a leader is forced to kick you, you are 100% on your own. Your pearl will be broken, you will be kicked from the party, and you aren’t likely to live very long soloing in Dynamis. Your odds of getting a new pearl are pretty slim in that case.

Rules Within Dynamis:

On a run the Leader is GOD:

Marlei is the leader of the LS, but whoever happens to be leading the run/event is to be considered GOD for that run. You will do what you are told, when you are told, as you are told and not question it. If you have a problem with that, take it up with that person and/or Leaders AFTER the run/event. This is not a democracy during a run. It cannot be or everyone will voice an opinion of every action and we will waste time and accomplish nothing. You get one very loud and clear vote in this linkshell and that is the moment you decided to take or refuse a pearl. If you took one then you already voted ‘yes’ on this matter.

“Leader” in this case refers to the following ‘chain of command’

Shell Holder
Sack Holders
Run Leaders (usually Hitokiri)
Job leaders
Alliance Leaders
Party leaders/Melee Markers (usually Dixus)
Rule of thumb is when following Melee marker you are to be behind him/her at all times and obey marker’s commands when issued, anyone seen meleeing out beyond the marker without being instructed to (i.e. save mages or bring a pull back to melees) will be dealt with according by being removed from party and be left solo to fend for themselves seeing that’s the way you wanted to play. (Dynamis isn’t a place you want to be left alone on an island, your survival is sure to be short lived)
You will find in most cases that run, job, and alliance leaders are sackholders. Party leaders are assigned as needed and may be sackholders or general members.

Fake D/C:

People have connection problems. The internet is imperfect, and sometimes things happen we can’t control. All of this is understood, however it is also understood that sometimes people use the imperfect as an excuse to save themselves at the expense of others. This will not be tolerated.

If you lose a /random, aren’t allowed to sponsor a run, we are faced with a mass death, or anything of the kind and you suddenly disappear, you will stay disappeared. It will be assumed you faked a Disconnection. Again, this may be entirely legit and it will be taken into consideration. Many people have well established connection issues.
However should your internet connection only seem to be a problem when a run gets ugly or things turn against us, it will be assumed you are faking a disconnection and abandoning your linkshell in order to save a couple hundred XP.
Should you come back after your Fake D/C you will not be permitted to lot on ANY AF that drops for the remainder of the run. You will lose 75% of your current points. If it should happen again, you will forfeit all remaining points and have your pearl broken.

Death, Dying and Raising

WHM are expected to keep re-raise up at ALL TIMES.

For some reason people think they can survive a bad situation if they just run around like morons or go hide in a corner. In Dynamis this never works. It just gets more people killed. If we are fighting a link and it is clear we are going to all go down, then you are expected to go down swinging with the group. Don’t run off and hide, you will only make it impossible to raise you later when the monsters hunt you down and kill you. Or worse the mobs will run off to find you and the group will think its safe, raise, and then be re-attacked by the roving mobs.

We will always fight through and kill as many of the mobs as we can. We fight to the last man and take as many with us as we can. It makes cleaning up the mess easier after we raise.

On rare occasions where time is an issue and the mobs pose no threat to the path we are taking you may be instructed to ‘wipe’. This means stop moving, kiting, or dodging. Do everything you can to die as fast as you can. We are trying to save time and the longer you take to die the longer it takes for the mobs to leave, people to get raised and weakness to wear. This will only be called in very rare and very specific situations, but you must pay attention and wipe when told to.

Please do not flood the LS chat with requests for a raise. We know you are dead and will get to you as soon as possible. In the event of a wipe, those who were not using a re-raise item or who had their re-raise dispelled will be raised in the following order.

Raise Order:

1. WHM
2. PLD & NIN
3. RDM & BLM
4. Pullers & Sacers
5. Everyone else.

If you just look at it, it should be pretty clear why, but here it is for those who will ask. WHM first because we need as many people raising as possible. PLD & NIN next because until the tanks are 100% unweakened we aren't going to be doing anything. RDM & BLM because the WHM will eventually need a refresh and we need the BLM back up moderately fast so that when Tanks are ready they can at least nuke statutes. Pullers are next because with blink they can theoretically pull while weakened.

ACCEPT ANY RAISE:

Death is common in Dynamis (notice how large this section is?). AOE spells, Summoner 2 hours, any number of things can lead to a player death. In normal circumstances you will always be given at least a raise II. Generally a Raise III is the norm, unless a large number of people died at once and time is an issue.
Anyone who de-levels should be sure to point that out and you will always be given a Raise III.
Notice this means you actually de-leveled, not that you might de-level next time.

There are rare instances where we need to perform a large number of raises in a brief period of time. During these times you are expected to accept any raise. Yes even a raise I if that’s what you are given. Refusing a raise wastes MP and time. Your XP is not worth 30+ people’s lost time and effort when we fail to achieve a goal due to time lost to refused raises.

All members are strongly encouraged to purchase and use re-raise items during each and every Dynamis. This insures you will always get at least a raise 2 from your item no matter what happens. It reduces time loss due to death and it helps you contribute to the overall success of the linkshell. Anyone without re-raise items will be given a plain old raise no questions asked so don't make any demands thinking that will get you anywhere.

Complaining about EXP loss and raises will pretty much fall on deaf ears; very, very deaf ears in fact. Why? Because before you ever take a pearl I think you have a pretty good idea that you are very likely to take some hits, eat some deaths and even an occasional raise I here and there. You're advised to bring re-raise items, you've had the reason and need for occasionally taking a hit for the good of the whole explained, put simply you have no excuse for acting surprised or hurt when it happens.

Using/Equipping the Linkshell

Evil Virtue exists entirely to communicate easily between members currently participating in a Dynamis raid. It is not for arguments, complaints, or general chit chat. It is to be used for issuing instructions and discussing the fights ONLY. Everything else should be in a /say /shout or /party chat. If you are not currently part of a run/event then please do not ‘pop in’ to ‘see how it’s going’.

Do not take someone else's Drops:

Loss of 100 points each offense in starter cities, 225 points in Northlands.

We have very clear rules on who gets what and when. When Items drop it will be announced who is to lot on that item. Everyone else will PASS. If you accidentally lot on an item you will be told to pass immediately. If you do not pass and acquire the item you will lose 3x the standard points cost for that item. In addition if you qualify for profit sharing your cut will be given to the person who should have received the item.

No Training:

If you get aggro. DIE WHERE YOU ARE. Unless a leader specifically tells you to bring the mobs you will stop moving and take your death where you are. You are not to train mobs back to the group. Running around will simply train everything else and you'll kill the entire group

If we can raise you without endangering the group, we will do so. If we cannot then we will not put the run or others in jeopardy. You will simply need to home point and make your way back to the trail markings. If you do so you can reenter and hopefully make it back to the group.

Please understand that if you are following directions you will not have this problem. The run leaders know where to go and how to get there without causing aggro, links or ‘accidents’. If you do not follow directions or are not paying attention then you have brought this on yourself. If you bring the mobs to the group instead of dying it will be heavily frowned upon and we will not make any effort to raise you, or if we can raise you you will receive the same raise as the lowest raise a member took (meaning if any member had to take a Raise I because of you, you will be given a raise one ONLY).

No Gimp Weapons. Dynamis isn't for Skill ups:

Dynamis is hard enough without bringing gimped, under leveled weapons to a run in hopes of getting a skill up. Under leveled weapons tend to miss far more often and have lower attack ratings and thus lower damage. Fights in Dynamis need to be as short as possible and an underleveled weapon doesn't help. In fact it hurts.
Bring your “A” Game, not some cheap crap you can easily level in a skill up party later.

Going AFK = BAD:

Going AFK or needing to run out for a moment is to be avoided as much as humanly possible. Time in Dynamis is constantly ticking away and if you are wasting it, you are costing us all in terms of lost time and possible drops.

Life being what it is however, and Dynamis being as long as it is, we realize you may need to make a quick dash for a drink, or a trip to the ‘WC’ during Dynamis. Make sure to check with someone before you go. Dynamis is fluid and we move a lot and change camps regularly. If we are about to move and you go AFK, you may very well end up left behind and lost or worse end up cut off from us and unable to rejoin the group. So be sure to check before you go AFK and always consider whether your time AFK is absolutely necessary or if it can wait.

Under no circumstances should you be AFK for more than a minute or two.

If you are AFK and the group needs to move, or execute a sacrifice pull, you will be given 2 minutes to return. If you have not returned in that time, we will have someone warp you. If this means you miss a clear or your AF2 drops and you miss out, too bad. Don't go AFK!

Do not auto-follow:

You are begging for death. Pay attention and stay alert. Auto-follow can also result in aggro and dragging it to the group. Do not auto follow.

Turn /autotarget OFF

Monsters often will need to be fought in a specific order. If you are auto targeting you may attack the wrong one and bring links and death to the group. Please note that this is not the same as the Autotarget option found in the config menu. You must actually type the command /autotarget off for this to be disabled.

Using /assist

You will need to make several /assist macros. Only ever engage using an /assist macro. this ensures that everyone is attacking the correct mob at the correct time. It avoids mistakes. You will learn over time who the lead melee are and who you should be /assisting on each run will be stated before we enter so your macro can be updated if need be. You should always have 2 macros, one for the lead and one for the backup (this applies to Black mages and melee primarily).

DoT magic or Weapons with DoT Effects:

Poison, Dia, Bio, Diaga, Poisonga, Frost, Burn, Rasp, Drown, Choke, Shock are only to be used when you are explicitly told to do use. The majority of the monsters must be kept asleep and DoT effects will keep awakening the monsters leading to death. Don't use it unless you are told to. Odds are you most likely won't be told to.

EXPECTED PLAYER BEHAVIOR

Be on time:

Keep a very simple rule of thumb in mind. “Early is on time. On time is late’”. Do not be late. Our points and lot system awards points for time spent as well as attendance. If you are late, you are losing points and others are gaining them just for sitting around. So you are losing ground twice as fast.

All times posted will be an entry time and a GATHER time 60 minutes prior. For example a posted entry time of 8:00 PM will have a gather time of 7:00 It is at the gather time that points will begin accumulating.

Plan ahead!

We will not wait for you while you go mule for your equipment, medicine, whatever or if you need to spend an hour at the AH. You should have everything you need and the correct sub-job set and be present at the designated trail-markings BEFORE the start time. Early is on time and on time is late. If you need to, get everything set and log out at the trail markings so you are ready to go at the appointed time.

Also if a run must be canceled due to too many no-shows, all persons who were present will be awarded the same points for attendance and time as if the event had occurred. So if we wait an hour you will still receive the base points for the event and 5 points for the hour you waited (This never happens, but hey who knows). The same applies if city we had scheduled is booked and are required to relocate to another venue.

Bring Re-raise items:

Think it's pretty self explanatory the less time and mp wasted on raising people the faster we recover from a wipe the faster we accomplish our goal.

Use food:

Eat food. Eat the RIGHT food. No one expects Rangers to come with 100K Red Curry, but you had better have the best food you can reasonably afford. Each member of a run is expected to bring enough food for FOUR HOURS MINIMUM. Dynamis can be extended to 3.5 hours max, so this will give us a 30 minute buffer and avoid any ‘I'm out of food” issues. Given how often you will die, 3 hour or 4 hour food is probably a bad idea, but be sure to carry enough 30 minute and 1 hour food to get you through. Remember to allow for extra food due to death.

Bring the required medicine and use it:

Medicines will be listed in the tactics section for each run. You will be expected to have it. If you don't, you're SOL. As a rule of thumb, Poison/Venom Potions and Echo drops are required at virtually every run, so always have a supply of those items with you.

Stay the whole time:

Dynamis events may last up to 4 hours, depending on the number of time-extend monsters defeated. Make sure you have enough time to dedicate should we be able to extend it to the maximum time limit. Remember, points are awarded for time spent, not just runs attended.

POINTS, LOTTING, and SPONSORSHIP

Points Accumulation

Calculation of Points During Dynamis:

Points will be awarded as follows:

10 points Will be given for starter city attendance
5 points will be given for "on time" (meaning early) attendance unless otherwise deemed so by LS leaders with the appropriate excuse given as to why you can’t be “on time”.

Forum Registration

These forums are the key to communicating with each other. It’s vital that all members register and USE these forums.

Evil Virtue Forum Registration page:

http://s1.zetaboards.com/Evil_Virtue_Dynamis

Will be used to keep track of members levels and status within game. Since this proves extremely useful when attempting to update and keep current our records for who has what jobs at what levels, all members are asked to add themselves.

Inactivity

Any member who does not attend any runs within 30 calendar days from their last attended run will be considered “inactive”. Inactive status is a progressive status that works as follows

At 30 Days the member’s points and totals are moved to ‘On Hold’. At this point you are considered “inactive”.

At 45 Days the member’s points and totals are moved to “Removed”. At this point you have 15 days to return or notify the LS leader that you will return or your points will be forfeit.

At 60 Days the member’s points are deleted from the LS records.

If a member contacts the shell holder, or posts within the linkshell forum that they will be unable to attend Dynamis for an extended period of time, then that member will be placed in ‘on hold’ after 30 days and the points and status information frozen. You must contact the shell holder BEFORE 60 calendar days from your last run or you points will be deleted.

Example, you attend a run on 1/1/2006. You then do not return until 3/1/2006. You will be unable to lot and any and all points earned will be forfeit.

Example 2, you attend a run on 1/1/2006. You then do not attend any runs until 3/2/2006. However on 1/25/2006 you notify the LS leader that work, life, a social disease, whatever, has come up and you cannot attend for an unknown period of time. You will be placed on hold indefinitely until your return or otherwise state that you will not be returning.

Be aware that inactive status will affect your ability to lot on your return as stated in the AF2 section below.

Sponsoring Runs

One thing that should be pointed out is that everyone needs to understand the very real COST of upgrading relic weapons in terms of both time and money. This is not something you can do 'part time' or 'sometimes' its a MASSIVE cost and usually requires you to change the way you play the game so that this is the only thing you spend on money on.

As a general rule of thumb you are looking at a ONE BILLION GIL cost for a fully upgraded relic weapon. Let me say it again, 1,000,000,000 gil.

The first upgrade alone will cost you roughly 20,000,000 gil alone and each upgrade becomes exponentially more expensive with the last upgrade costing over 500,000,000 gil alone.

This means your game, once you decided to upgrade, will consist of virtually nothing but farming gil , doing Dynamis, and struggling to keep or attain level 75. Bear that in mind when considering your upgrade plans.

Also, Relics are a tremendous source of individual pride and a accomplishment. They however offer little in terms of a ‘group’ reward. As such, understand that while the Linkshell will help you by offering discounts and allowing you to sponsor runs, the final Relic and the pride attached to it are yours and yours alone. There is no linkshell prestige, no linkshell benefit (as the cost is so high and the time so long that it would be cheaper and easier to outfit every member with top notch gear than it would be to attain a single relic weapon). SO understand that the linkshell is helping you with a PERSONAL QUEST. We will support you and offer you currency and opportunity that may well save you over 100 million gil, or maybe even more, in your quest, but in the end you alone will benefit, and you alone will bear the brunt of the cost for your relic weapon.

These rules for Currency and Sponsorship have been designed to reflect the enormity of the task you are considering undertaking, its personal nature, and at the same time reflect the massive level of help and expense the linkshell is willing to undertake while also keeping the interest of all member in mind, not just the very tiny minority who will ever undertake the task. They are not designed to discourage anyone who truly wishes to upgrade their weapons (it would be impossible to do so as It takes a very dedicated person who would not be so easily deterred to upgrade to final stage), but to shed a very harsh light on the process for those who aren’t entirely sure of what they are about to get themselves into.

Conditions for Sponsoring Runs

1. You must be a current, active member of the Linkshell

2. You cannot sponsor the first run back after being inactive

3. You must currently have in your possession the weapon/shield you wish to upgrade

4. You must have already completed your FIRST upgrade

5. You must be level 70 to sponsor a run

6. You must need, for your current upgrade, the currency from the sponsor city

7. Jeuno is off limits and reserved exclusively for linkshell runs

8. Sponsor must wait 30 days before being able to request another sponsorship

9. All currency is to be used for upgrading. No sale of currency is permitted

Sponsorship will not be reservation based.

Each run available for sponsorship will be announced at the gather time as an open sponsorship. A grace period of ten minutes will be allowed for unforeseen circumstance. If you are not at the trail markings within that time frame you forfeit your opportunity to sponsor. Be smart, always log out at the trail markings the night before you wish to sponsor a run.

If you meet the requirements for sponsoring the city, you will be expected to pay 500,000 gil before the linkshell enters Dynamis. In the event that two or more members wish to sponsor the same city, both members will /random. Lowest lot will win the sponsorship. If the losing member should then D/C or otherwise opt not to go on the run, they will be unable to sponsor for 30 calendar days from that date.

Relic Currency

Relic currency in all forms is the property of the linkshell. Linkshell members may purchase currency from the LS at a reduced rate. In order to qualify to purchase currency from the LS you must have attended at least 5 runs before you can purchase currency. You must also have attended at least 3 runs in the past month to purchase currency.

If you wish to purchase currency from the LS it is preferred you inform Matakuko IMMEDIATELY after a run. Currency will be first come first served. You can always ask later if the LS has any currency banked, but your best bet it to get what you can immediately.

Current member pricing for Currency:

Singles: 5,000
100 Piece: 500,000

In all cases you will be limited to purchasing currency you need for your current upgrade.
If more than one member needs the same currency types, it will be evenly divided between those needing it.

100 Unit Currency cannot be broken.
This will be sold to 1 member based on /random. Lowest lot will win the right to purchase. Again, you may only buy currency for your current upgrade.

Currency will be kept within the linkshell.

Any “left over” currency not sold to members immediately after a run will be stored in the linkshell bank for future sale to the general public.

The linkshell has a ‘cash and carry’ policy.

We don’t hold on to currency, defer payments or accept a partial payment to ‘hold’ currency for anyone. If you can’t pay for it when it is available, then it will be sold to the next person in line. This avoids problems later on.

Any member found selling currency purchased under the linkshell discount or collected during a sponsored run will immediately lose the right to buy any currency or sponsor any runs

Sponsoring a run or purchasing currency from the linkshell at the discounted rates will make the member ineligible for profit sharing for that month.

Relic weapon Upgrade Items:

At various stages in the upgrade process you will need to call on the help of the linkshell to obtain very specific and in some cases very rare and difficult to obtain items.

You need the Linkshell to fight for 3 drops for your final upgrade. Two of these drops require dedicated runs to obtain and one is a fairly common drop that can be obtained on the way to defeating Dynamis Lord.

These items are:
Attestation
Shards
Weapon fragments

Shards

These items are easy to come by so they carry no points cost. However they may only be lotted on by those who can prove they are on the final weapon upgrade. If no member of the Linkshell is currently on the final upgrade then priority will drop to those on the 3rd, 2nd, 1st, etc as needed. The person with the most advanced weapon upgrade will always have first right of refusal. If no member is currently upgrading or in need of a shard then it will go to free lot. Shards are rare/ex and useless if you are not upgrading.

Attestation

COST = 500,000 gil

As this usually requires a dedicated trip to obtain, we will be treating attestation runs in much the same way as we treat sponsored runs.

Person asking for the attestation will be responsible for the cost of the hourglass used (1million gil) and will use 100 points (you must have the points to spend ahead of time) to have the linkshell fight for his/her attestation.

Sponsor will not be allowed to lot on any drops at all other than the attestation. All other drops will be dealt with in the normal manner, with all currency going to the linkshell (see below).

In the event that an attestation other than the one required drops, or in the rare event more than one attestation drops, it is up to the sponsor how to deal with it. Sponsor may pick a person to receive any unneeded or unwanted attestations entirely at his or her own discretion. There will be no cost to the person the sponsor names to receive the item. Sponsor may also choose to 'sell' the extra or un-needed items if he/she so chooses (to anyone present at the raid as these items are rare/ex). Again, attestations are paid for in advance by the sponsor and any which drop and are unneeded by the sponsor are his/hers to dispose of in any manner they see fit.

If no attestations or the wrong attestation drops or the linkshell is wiped and unable to defeat the target mob, there are no refunds to the sponsor. Risk is part of the deal. We will fight for you, but things can go wrong. No one is at fault, stuff happens.

Since this kind of raid is a special case, all currencies collected during this event will be handled in a special manner.

Any and all relic currency collected during an attestation run will be sold on the open market ONLY. Linkshell members are free to buy it, but you will pay current market value for it NOT discounted Linkshell rates.
All monies collected from the sale of this currency will be dived into equal shares of all persons attending the run other than the sponsor and given out at the next general Linkshell run. Only those who come to the run and stay for the entire time will receive a share of this money.

Points will be awarded according to linkshell policy.

Weapon Fragment

COST = 500,000 gil

Weapon fragments will be handled exactly the same as attestations. All attestation rules apply to fragment raids including currency and gil distribution from the raid.

Relic Armor & Weapon Point Costs and Lot Method

Relic Weapons
Point Cost: 0

Relic weapons are junk if not upgraded. Thus you may only lot on a relic weapon if you have the intention of spending the hundreds of millions of gil required to upgrade them. If you aren’t planning on doing this, pass the weapon to someone who is.

Relic Armor

Current Relic Armor Point Costs

LV 71: 50 Points
LV 72: 65 Points
LV 73: 80 Points
LV 74: 95 Points
LV 75: 110 Points
LV 70 Capes/Belts: 35 Points
AF2 -1: 65 Points + Item to be upgraded

How it works:

The Job you declared as your AF2 lotting job when you joined is the only job you are allowed to lot on. The person with the most points in that job who does not already own it has first rights to it.

If two or more members have identical point totals then priority Is as follows:

Current Job level (at the start of the event)
Current Number of Completed Runs with LS (As of start of the current run)
/random

If somehow we end up with a number of people with identical points and levels, the total number of runs each player has gone on with the LS will come into play. The player who has attended the most runs will receive the item. If this still does not break the tie then those members still tied will be asked to /random. Lowest /random will win the right to lot the item.

Example 1: Player 1 has 50 points and is level 75. Player 2 has 50 points and is level 72. Player 1 may lot the item.

Example 2: Player 1 has 40 points and is level 75. Player 2 has 50 points and is level 72. Player 2 may lot the item.

Example 3: Player 1 has 50 points and is level 75 and has been on 4 runs. Player 2 has 50 points and is level 75 and has been on 3 runs. Player 1 may lot the item.

Example 4: Player 1 has 50 points and is level 75 and has been on 4 runs. Player 2 has 50 points and is level 75 and has been on 4 runs. Both players /random and lowest random may lot.

Members who have already obtained a Relic piece (with this LS or any other) are not eligible to lot on it again.

Any player may pass the right to lot if they wish.
If a player passes the right to lot it then goes to the next highest point total and so on. If all players who can lot pass then the lot reverts back to the first player and they must lot the item. No item with main lot jobs present and able to lot is allowed to fall to open lot status.

Players who have less than the required points to lot on a item will be allowed to lot and incur 'point debt' only if they are the next in line for their main AF2. Players with negative point values will be placed at the bottom of the list for future drops and will be behind even a new member on their first run in lot order as long as their points remain in the negative. Once the member returns to positive point status they lot again based on their points totals.

Players who have been placed on inactive status will be unable to lot on the first run back with the linkshell. Points are restored immediately after your first run back with the LS, unless you failed to notify the LS leader according to the inactivity rules above.

Relic Armor Open Lot system

If we should get an AF2 drop that no one has declared as their primary job or all members with that primary job currently have the item, it will be put up for open lot.

If an item falls to open lot then a progression of calls will be made:

Any member with the appropriate job 70+
Any member with the appropriate job 65+
Any member with the appropriate job 50+
Any member with the appropriate job 37+
Any member

In all cases the point cost of the item is the same as for a main lot job.
If no one chooses to spend their points it will be allowed to fall where it may.
If you absolutely do not want it, be sure to pass.

Conditions on the Open lot system:

Under no circumstances may you obtain more than 1 piece of open lot relic gear per run. This is in addition to your main lot Relic Armor.

Points for open lot are deducted IMMEDIATELY. If your main lot armor drops after you have obtained an open lot item, your standing will be based on the point total minus the relic armor you just obtained. This may allow the next person to move ahead of you in points. Make your decisions wisely.

You must have a positive point value to lot.

Changing status on your primary Relic Armor lot

If you would like to change your main lotting job to something else you may do so provided you meet the following conditions.

1 - Player must have at least 100 points
2 - Member must have been an active member of the linkshell for at least 60 days
(time spent on 'inactive' status does not count)
3 - Member must have completed at least 15 runs with Evil Virtue.
4 - Member must have attended at least 3 runs in the past month.
5 - Job you are changing to must be level 65 or higher.

If you meet all 5 requirements you will need to post a new thread in the forums announcing your intention to change jobs including the new lotting job and its current level.

After your post your stats will be checked and if you meet all the requirements you will have to attend one run with NO LOT status. Your second run after a requested change will be your first run as your new lotting job. This is solely to prevent members with large point totals from switching jobs immediately prior to a run where their new requested lot job drops.

Once you have changed your lot job, you will not be allowed to change back to your old job or any other job for a period of 60 days. After that time you may change lots again but all 5 conditions above must be met again.

Other Assorted Drops:

General drop items will be allowed to auto drop to any member at all times.
(Unless member is currently sponsoring the run.)

General drop items include:

Sparkling stone

Special Drop items:

Experience Scrolls
Only the main tank, designated pullers, and sacrifice pullers (sacs) are permitted to lot on these items. The EXP reward is very small but it helps to off-set the many deaths these members make on behalf of the linkshell.

You must have completed at least 25 runs with Evil Virtue to qualify to lot on a Shadow item.
