Sarako sighed as he listened to the blue cloaked man's reply to him. Another guard ran up to the man and informed him that there were now two assassins in the city. Before the blue cloaked man left to investigate, he pointed to a different man and told him to stay and search the current area. Suddenly, Sarako heard the sound of a explosion and felt the walkway of the sewer shake violently, almost causing him to fall. Two assassins...Tobi would not be able to cause an explosion in the sewers, or else he'll draw too much attention. It could be that other assassin, but why would he cause an explosion? Sarako quickly thought. No time to dawdle, this is starting to get much more serious. Sarako helped the guard get up as he had fell, then ran down the walkways and headed towards the source of the explosion, ignoring and running past all the guards and soldiers he came across. He easily outran all of the soldiers that attempted to chase him, and eventually he came to a section of the sewer that had a gaping hole blown into the ceiling. Sarako stopped and took a quick look around the area. His eyes spotted something floating in the sewage next to the walkway, possibly a body. Sarako carefully lifted up the object and discovered that it was indeed a body. Sarako could not discern if it really was a man or something else due to the figure's contorted and pale face, and strange eyes. One thing he could clearly identify was that the thing was dead, with a dagger stuck in the neck. Was this...man recently killed? If so, then the other assassin should be close by. He laid the body down on the floor for the other guards to investigate, and proceeded to run down the tunnel. As Sarako ran, he began to think about what he would do after he encountered the assassin. No sooner after the though appeared in his head did he sense another living being ahead of him. After a quick burst of speed to catch up with the new figure, he saw it was another cloaked figure. "Hey, stop running!" Sarako shouted to the man. He prepared to defend himself from the suspicious figure. |

Elizabeth slowly got out of the water and turned back into a human. She wasn't happy, she would need to spend 8 tiring days washing her own clothes, she glared at the annoying man, that was what she would call him from now on. She sat down and looked back at the direction of the rangers and saw 2 running men. Wow, she thought, what good luck, time to get moving. She got up and started moving towards the rangers. She slowly walked on the narrow strip of land, carefully avoiding the sewage water which was lapping near her feet. She look a bit more closely to the two running figures, take a hostage? Maybe she thought and stealthily followed them stealthily. |

Jarris heard a man calling him. Could he be on of the Rangers? No I don't think so, a voice in his head told him, his style of running and his voice does not fit a Ranger. If this new man isn't with th Haven, that would make Jarris' job a lot easier. He turned around and threw three daggers at the young man chasing him, hoping to delay him as he would have to dodge them. Then he took a sharp left turn and jumped across the river of waste to the other side. As soon as his foot touched the ground, Jarris started running. He had no idea where he was heading to, but he needed to shake off this man if he wanted to accomplish his mission. |

Sarako saw the daggers coming and he was able to move to the side of the sewer walls to evade two of the daggers. He was unable to dodge the last dagger but as the dagger made contact, his enchantment kicked in, causing Sarako to shift out of reality long enough for the dagger to pass through him and continue down the walkway. So this assassin has the intent to kill freely, that's not good...I better stop him before he goes on another mission, or at least delay him. Sarako put on a full sprint to close the distance between the assassin and the filthy river. When they were within shouting distance, Sarako waved his right hand towards the running assassin and calmly spoke "Estin". A blue-white spinning crescent the size of Sarako materialized in front of him, and accelerated towards the figure. The crescent impacted on the back of the assassin, causing him to fly to the side and slam into the wall and fall down. As the assassin lifted himself up, Sarako jumped over the stream of waste and approached him. Sarako began to ask him, "What are you planning to do next?" |

"Planning your funeral," Jarris replied as he got up, wiping some blood from his mouth. He smiled as he saw two of his shadow warriors approach the man from behind. He had summoned them before and ordered them to keep close to him, but hide in the shadows. He muttered a few words and disappeared into the shadows, reappearing behind the two shadow warriors. Pointing at the man, Jarris said, "Kill him." The two warriors began to move. |

Elizabeth watched as the 'excitement' unfolded, it was pretty scary really, I mean daggers flying around? People going out of reality? It was a whacko day. She looked at the other guy, it was clear he was an assassin by the way he was throwing stuff at other people and so on, but please, he really shouldn't do that. Her somewhat good hearing allowed her to make up what the assassin said to the two weirdo warriors, 'kill him', yup, that was right, 'kill him'. It was quite scary with all the darkness and whatnot. Now she wished she knew that weird Chinese kong-fu thing where you hit someone in the neck and they faint; she sighed and climbed up the slippery, slime infested, moss infected wall. She nearly slipped at the top but she had to get a move on, take the other man with her to the cloaked ranger and pretend she was a goodie-two-shoes Haven guy, simple enough. She jumped down landing nearly and quietly on her feet before holding the mans collar and tried to drag him, she wasn't sure whether or not she was going to be successful in dragging him if he struggled, and she needed to drag him all the way back to the strange ranger guy but it was worth a try, it was always best to avoid assassins. |

"Oh, a funeral...are you sure the funeral is not for you?" Sarako calmly spoke to the assassin as the shadow warriors moved closer. This was a fight that he couldn't avoid, so he pulled his spear from the sling on his back. "Just a typical assassin...with only a few tricks," Sarako mocked the man. The two fighters were getting closer and closer. Before Sarako could do anything else after he pulled out his spear, he felt a strong tug on his neck from behind. He quickly swung around and was about to strike, but he stopped the swing when he noticed it was not the assassin or another shadow warrior. "Hey, what the-" Sarako managed to say before he lost his balance and caused both of them to fall. Sarako shook off the brief confusion and saw that the one who pulled him from behind was what seemed to be a young girl. "What are you-" before he was able to finish, he looked up and saw one of the shadows prepare to swing downwards on him. With hasty thinking, Sarako prepared to block with his spear, while simultaneously shouting "Kaupe!" The shadow warrior slashed with a sharp claw, completely penetrating the defense of the spear. The attack went straight for the neck, but Sarako's enchantment caused the attack to pass completely through him without causing any damage. Without another thought, Sarako took a swing at his current foe and observed as the attack passed through the dark body, not causing any noticeable damage. "Oh wow...this is just like old times," Sarako whispered to himself. Sarako stepped backwards, quickly helped the girl up and gave her a gentle push on the other path, motioning her to move away from the area. After she took a few steps backwards, Sarako turned to face the two shadow warriors and the assassin. Even with the torch lights, it's still quite dark down here...but I have to try... he thought to himself. Sarako held onto his spear with his right hand and raised his left hand to point towards the roof of the sewer tunnel, and he shouted "Warm Wind...Light!" A small vortex of sky-blue colored wind and light swirled around Sarako for a brief moment and dissipated as fast as it appeared. Sarako held up his spear with both hands in a defensive stance. The spear had faint bands of light around the shaft, and the headpiece glowed a faint yellow. "Now, let us start with your move," Sarako gently spoke to the assassin. Lizzie glared at him, she was supposed to help him not she has even more pains to worry about, laundry, grazes and cuts, not the best week of her life or rather day. Her eyes weren't the best of all and in the dark she could see the two huge blobs and some guy, her somewhat joktastic* personality kicked in, "What are those? They look like some guy decided to use some black slime or something," she looked around, hopefully her stupid comment would have saved her some time by the guy laughing. 'Quickly' she thought to herself before breathing in and spitting fire out, there wasn't big, it was the size of a camp fire, one of those small ones but it created enough sparks to have either gotton into their eyes or hurt them a little. "Hey," she called ot the other guys who was stupid, she thought everyone was stupid right now, "go run to that ranger guy whatever his name was." She motioned her hands to tell him to go and she started running to, she didn't want to get into a fight in her holidays* especially by some assassin, 'There was some rule about don't interfere with another assassins fight right? Maybe,' she thought and started pondering, 'wasn't it like you got punished or something? Meh.' THe last word floated through her mind as she ran towards the direction of the rangers stopping as the rangers shadow got in sight and waiting for that other dude. OOC: *Is that a word? *lol |

Kisuke walked across the bustling market square towards some of the lesser known but reliable stores in the back of the markets where few people dare to go; as it was close to the back alleys and sewers where strange and suspicious individuals sometimes dwell. He was headed towards a good herb shop to restock on various and even some rare medicinal herbs. He reached into his pocket to pull out a list of herbs he needed but with them list he pulled out a recent news article and it read: "Recently there has been several reported cases of missing individuals and occasionally and have not been found. But corpses are being found drained of blood, we have reasons to believe this is the work of vampires. Also the victims reported have been identified as elves. As Kisuke skimmed over the article he noticed something unusual, he closely examined the pictures and saw something and thought, "They say this is the work of vampires but if it was vampires why have the throats of the victims been slit? Something's not right here" He continued to mumble for a while as he walked down one of the alleys, as he looked up he saw a group of cloaked figures. There were 5 of them 4 were pinning someone to the ground exposing their throat, while the 5 one stood over their prisoner with a knife. The group of people bared a wide grin on each of their faces as they started to cut the throat of their victim, Kisuke noticed that it was a young elf girl, but it was to late for him to react. The elf girl screamed but was stopped short and silenced as her throat was slit open and her blood pouring out. The cloaked figures lowered their mouths to the open throat and drank the blood. As they finished they looked at Kisuke with yellow bloodshot eyes, Kisuke saw their blood lust as one said, "Well boys it looks like we have another one, lets hope his blood is as sweet as hers." They all smiled and began laughing. They all pulled out a strangely designed sword and Kisuke unsheathed his to defend himself, The leader of the group said our swords are made from demon steel these swords were made to kill elves and counter their magic. They then lunged at Kisuke and he blocked all of them. Their fight continued until one of them slipped past Kisuke's defenses and stabbed him in his side. Kisuke screamed in rage as he decapitated the one who stabbed him but the force of the stab had knocked him backwards and he fell into the sewers. As he slammed into the floor of the sewers he saw his pursuers jump in. he quickly stood up and sheathed one of his swords. Suddenly the effects of the blade that stabbed him kicked in. A searing pain flooded his wound which was bleeding heavily, he clutched his side as he ran down the sewers. He stopped and turned around to created a barricade of ice to stop his pursuers. He saw their blades glow with demonic runes as they effortlessly smashed through the wall of ice. Kisuke staggered backwards and knocked knocked Lizzie over. He sheathed his other sword and held out a hand and asked, "Are you okay?" |
