Sarako saw the blue cloaked man walk off as soon as he landed on solid footing. He followed, making sure to lag behind the man so if he was caught, he could make a run for it. After what seemed like a few minutes of walking in the sewers, another guard approached the man and they began a short conversation. Sarako waited far behind them and pulled a replacement potion from his pack back into his robe. After a short while, three more guards began following the blue cloaked man as he continued on. The man drew a sword and channeled magic into it, causing the sword to glow and illuminate the area around him. Sarako saw the light and walked backwards, slightly annoyed at this new obstacle. He followed the group very slowly now, staying back and avoiding the light the sword gave off. I can't get close to them without revealing myself to the light. I should stay back and continue following them until a new situation pops up. Sarako thought to himself. |

Elizabeth heard more people enter the sewers, Oh, Great she thought and they were carrying a light. She looked down at the menacing river of sewage, no way she thought and move slightly across the pipes to a better place where there was more darkness. Her ears perked up as she heard someone following the group, was he an enemy or friend, she did not know, but all she knew was to keep away from the Rangers, most knew her... for a bad reason. Soon the pipes started to bend and Lizzie's arms started to ache. "Mew?" she said questionably to herself as she fell into the river of sewage. "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" she wailed, "it stinks!", she started to panic, not about being caught but the stink she was going to have for next two weeks. OOC: Yes, I'm aware that this is totally strange and what I would say, but then again she is based on me. XD Edited by Elizabeth, Nov 29 2008, 04:59 PM.

Sarako was slowly trailing behind the group of guards as they continued to walk. Suddenly, a loud splashing sound was heard, almost as if something fell from the pipes of the sewers onto the flowing sewage. Sarako flinched and almost pulled out his spear, but then he heard a voice coming from the river of waste. That was unexpected...this day just keeps getting more awkward. Sarako thought as he quickly backed away to the path he just came from. The guards were coming back to investigate what just happened, and he could not check for himself if he wanted to remain anonymous in the sewers. Sarako quietly whispered "Kaupe" to himself as he recast his enchantment. Even in the shadows, he was at risk of being seen, and he wanted to make sure that if the guards decided to confront him, he would be completely safe for a few moments. |

Tobi was trying to move away from the Rangers when he heard a splash nearby. A wave of dirty sewage water fell on him, causing his cloak and his fur to become dirty and wet. "Damn it!" Tobi howled. "This is never gonna come off!" However he gave his location away and soon, Rangers were shooting arrows at him. Blasted he thought to himself, looks that dirty water is my only chance of escaping. Tobi quickly transformed into his fox form and leaped into the river of waste. It was a good thing he learned to swim in both forms. There was no time to worry about the smell, he has to escape the guards first. The girl who had fell into the water was in front of him and Tobi started hitting her with his claws, telling her to move out of the way before she gets killed by arrows. |

A sudden splash of water caused Phantom to turn around and look in the opposite direction. Someone must be on the other end, and whoever it was, Phantom wanted to make sure it wasn't the assassin. Voices came from that direction and they grew louder, and Phantom even heard the sound of arrows hitting the water. The assassin must be there. He took out his mirror and said, "All units, report to sector 237. I repeat, report to sector 237." He beckoned the other Rangers and they followed him. However by the time he arrived, the assassin was no where to be seen. "What happened commander?" he asked. The commander was shaking and said, "The assassin transformed and jumped sir." Angered, Phantom said, "Then what are you still doing here? Jump!" With that, he pushed the commander into the river. "Find him! I don't want an non-human assassin loose in the city. That will cause panic," he ordered. The other Rangers nodded and jumped into the river also. Damn it, assassin, if you want to play rought, we'll play rough, Phantom thought to himself. |

The voice of Tobi paired with the sounds of arrows penetrating water alerted Sarako. He caught a glimpse of a fox leaping into the sewage before he had to start moving. He was about to turn and run until a new idea came to his head. If that blue cloaked man is able to command all the other guards, then he must also take responsibility for their actions. I should avoid and ignore the other guards and follow only this man. He could know where Tobi is going. Sarako cautiously moved towards the area he heard someone fall into the filthy river. He saw the man shove another guard into the sewage and give orders to the others. "Play it safe...no need to rush, just play it safe and watch what happens." Sarako whispered to himself. He took a deep breath, ignoring the stench of the sewer, and slowly, very carefully, walked towards the blue cloaked man. "Non-human assassin, that explains some things to me." Sarako calmly spoke to the man. "If he is that dangerous and a threat to the public, why do you not take more drastic measures?" He was ready to make a run for it if the man was hostile. |

"Stop scratching me!" Elizabeth complained, she had enough, her day was ruined, she turned back into cat and started to swim through the river of muck, her fur was damp and was weighing her down but she knew if she was in her human form the chances of her being caught was high. Arrows started flying at her direction too, one vaguely missing her nose, she glared at the general direction of the Rangers and continued to swim, she had to get out of here fast. The darkness of the sewage was hard to see through and she needed to stay away from the blue-cloaked man, who knew what he would do to a cat... with long bunny-like ears, shoot it maybe? Or maybe arrest it, either way she wasn't taking chances and she wanted to wash off everything on her, it felt horrible! Edited by Elizabeth, Nov 29 2008, 11:39 PM.

"Because young man, I don't want to start a panic in the city at this moment. We simply do not have the strength to maintain order in a city home to millions," Phantom replied, not bother turning around. His attention was still towards the river, and he hope that they found at least sign of the assassin. Suddenly a soldier ran up to him and said, "Sir we have found no sign of the assassin or the person with him. However in sector 239, we found the bodies of two soldiers. They were recently killed and the wounds they received was from a blade." "So we have two assassins lose now? Great this day just keeps getting better," Phantom said. He pointed to a commander and said, "You, stay here and continue the search. The rest of you follow me." With that, he took off to investigate this new killing. |

Tobi continued to swim down the river until he saw that it came to a stop. He leaped and landed on one of the walkways. After shaking off all the dirty water on his fur, he transformed himself back to his bi-pedal form. However he still stank, but at least it provided good cover against the Rangers. He looked around the area and saw that no one was follow them. Good, he thought to himself, i lost them for now. He looked down and saw that the girl that had fallen into the river and said, "You might want to come up now. Its a dead end." |

As he continued, Jarris heard a huge explosion and felt the ground shake. He fell to the ground, narrowly avoiding falling into the river of wastes. He got up and wiped the dust off of his cloak. Damn what was that? Jarris thought to himself. Jarris continued to walk down the alley until he saw a figure approach him. It was a man, or at least it was once a man. The figure's face was twisted and pale, his eyes replaced by two red slits and his nose was nothing more than two holes. It was a Necropolis sleeper agent, the eyes and ears of Hellron. The explosion was probably caused by him. "You are late. I was waiting here for awhile," the sleeper agent said in a dry voice. "And I guess you are the one that caused the explosion?" Jarris asked as he eyed the agent with dislike. "Yes. Surprising what a simple fire spell can -" the agent replied, but before he could finished, Jarris took out a small dagger and stabbed him in the neck. The dead agent collapsed onto the ground. Jarris spat on his body and pushed it into the river. "I don't like people messing with my work," he muttered before taking off again. |
