We have officially figured out a way to keep the magic balanced. Basically this is what is going to happen. There will be five phases you will go through, and with each phase you will become more powerful. Here are the phases. 0-50 posts - None: Your spells are limited to small healing spells and weak damage dealing spells. If you are a warrior, you can use weak buffs to increase your attack/defense strength. Examples include fireballs and water balls. 50-100 posts - Spiritual Initiate: Your spells are getting a bit stronger now. You are capable of upgrading existing spells and learn more powerful versions. Your spells also becomes more powerful. Examples include shooting a torrent of water or fire. 100-200 posts - Spiritual Adept: Again, you may upgrade spells and learn new, more powerful versions. 200-350 posts - Aware of Harmony: Same old stuff as before, but this is where the good stuff comes in. You can summon entities!!! For example, you can summon fire hound or create a spirit to aid you in combat. Your spells also costs less mana. 350 + posts - Spiritual Master: The ultimate level a magic user can achieve. Your spells are very powerful and costs little mana. You can call upon bigger and more deadly entities to aid you in combat or use an extremely powerful spell to destroy your target. This does not mean you are a god and we do not allow wrath - like magic. To go to each phase, you must pass a cultivation test. When you reached the desired post level, you must PM the NPC Computer to receive your quest. We will be handing out different quests to each member and each quest becomes harder as you move up. Please note, we are giving you the liberty of what spells to choose, so please take it seriously. Don't make your spells overpowered and keep it original. This is a privilege and it can be taken away. This is currently in test mode and we will go with this for two months. After two months, we will decided whether to keep it, editing it, or trash it.
