Recommendation from a friend Character Information: Character's Full Name: Selena Tynas Age: 24 Gender: Female Faction: Haven >> Haven Knights Race: Elf Physical Description: Selena Selena wears a gold necklace with a small piece of sapphire diamond around her neck. It is a gift from her oldest brother before he died in combat. She always wears a brown cloak over her regular combat clothes. She also wears brown leather boots that makes minimal sound when moving around. She has a silver chain around her left ankle. Personality Description: Selena is a bright and carefree person. She likes to have fun and is curious about everything. Most of the times she is happy but depending on her mood, she can be sad at times. Selena is extremely talkative and some consider her a bit "annoying." She has many friends and will risk everything to help them. She is a loyal, kindhearted, and friendly person, who gets along with just about anyone. On the battlefield, she is a fierce fighter and earns the respect of her enemies. She is very compassionate and does not like killing her enemies. Character History: Selena was born a princess of her village. Her father was the king and she had two brothers. Her mother died when she was young and it was her brothers who raised her (her father is always fighting battles). At a very young age, she displayed talents and interest in fighting, and so her brothers trained her to use the bow and short sword. She was able to master these two weapons by her twelfths birthday and often accompanied her brothers during their hunting trips. When she was thirteen, her father was killed while fighting against the goblins in the mountains. Her eldest brother, Jarld, succeeded him as king. Two years later, Jarld too was killed when goblins raided the village. Her remaining brother succeeded the throne. Selena was left alone now, as her brothers were unable to play with her anymore. She began to wander away from the village to discover the other parts of the forest. During this time, she began to form a bond with the forest and its animals. She also learned new survival skills and became friends with several hunters from other villages. When she was at home, she occasionally argued with her brother because she opposed his policy of staying neutral in a conflict that has almost wiped out her family. When she was 19, her brother announced that she would be married to the son of a local human lord, to "further strengthen the alliance between the two races." However Selena saw it as an attempt to get rid of her. On the eve of her wedding, Selena escape the village with the help of her loyal maids. She joined the Haven after and spent the next four years fighting for them. Recently, she was drafted into the Haven Knights and served as a sniper/recon/scout for them. Skills, Powers, and Abilities: While not very good at magic, Selena makes it up with her speed, accuracy, and martial arts. She is extremely skilled with the bow and can shoot targets from a very far range. She also mastered the short sword, which she uses when the enemy gets too close. Selena also has very good survival skills, especially in the forest. She is quite attached the forest and can speak to nature, though she can't control them. Despite her lack of stamina and physical strenght, Selena is adept at hand to hand combat. Her fighting technique involves speed and lighting fast reflexes. Character Equipment: Selena's primary weapon is a bow, which she designed herself. While it looks like a normal elvish bow, it is slightly bigger and wide. The arrow it uses is also longer than the standard one issued by the Haven. Her bow can shoot farther than any other bow and is very hard to break. She also carries a short sword, which like all elvish weapons, is expertly crafted out of mythril and elegantly designed. She wears a gold necklace around her neck and a small silver chain around her right ankle. Her equipment varies with each mission. Likes: The forest, her family, the Haven, and peace Dislikes: Goblins, Necropolis, and darkness Habits: Likes to ask questions Strengths: Fast, expert sniper, good fighter, and has a strong ability to survive. Weaknesses: Unable to use magic, physical weak, and very weak stamina. Her curiosity and her love for living things also leads her trouble. Other: Selena recently discovered that her brother, along with her entire village has been corrupted by Necropolis sleeper agents and is now fighting for Hellron. The village is destroyed and the villagers has sent up a new base somewhere else. |
