"Oh no reason. You just look like someone I know that works for them." He stated as he continued to relax. He tossed a glance toward Amy and chuckled, she was so different than the agent he'd met earlier. Maybe they were related or something, or perhaps there was a much stranger explanation. He was dealing with the Mage Clans after all. He decided not to pry for the time being. "Seriously Amy, you should just relax a bit for now for a number of reasons. One, you just recovered from a rather nasty poison. Two, there are wild animals in the woods like wolves but they won't come here to this bear cave due to the scent. Three, the elves are not likely to come looking since they don't know I'm here and saw you hit with one of those poison arrows... they probably think you crawled off to die somewhere. Four, it will be easier to move about undetected after the sun sets." He counted off the points on his fingers as he called them out, driving the points home. "Last but not least, I already have an escape plan in case anyone uninvited comes looking for us in the cave. So relax, have a bite to eat and drink. We have a bit of time till night fall and there's really no rush. Unless you're expected somewhere soon?" He asked with a chuckle, finding that unlikely since this girl didn't seem to know why she was in the forest in the first place. |

"But where do you intend to get our food? I normally don't carry food on me," Amy replied. She sat down and let out a sigh. It looked like she wasn't going anywhere soon. Not when they are patrols everywhere. She tried going to sleep but her head felt like it was about to explode. She also felt her body temperature rising. What is happening to me? she thought, clutching her head. Soon, a bright flash of light appeared and she went unconscious. |

Tetroneaque's ears twitched under his hood as he listened to the girl. He was about to answer her questions when there was a blinding flash of light. If Tetroneaque hadn't already had his eyes closed when it happened he'd probably have been struck blind. As it was, his sensitive eyes hurt and he was trying to blink he spots away. "What the hell just happened!?!" He blurted out, not knowing what was going on. |

Before the fox can do anything else, a powerful magical spell struck him and knocked him into the ground. It paralyzed him and caused him to go into a deep sleep. Amy Deathbringer casted the sleeping fox a look and muttered a new spell. His memory of the other Amy cannot be allowed to be kept. Though the spell will only erase half of the memory, it was still better than having it kept. Once it was done, Amy conjured up a weak spirit and said, "Go back to the island. Tell the masters that the mission will start soon." The spirit bowed and disappeared. |

Tetroneaque woke up a few hours later, with a horrible headache. "Uhg, what the blazes happened. I feel like I have a week long hangover with none of the fun beforehand." He said as he rubbed his head, "Oh, hey. It's you. The agent from the docks. Did you... do something to me?" He asked groggily, still not having regained all his senses from the spell she cast on him earlier. He clutched his head harder and let out another groan. "Never mind." He said before she could answer. He reached into his robes and pulled out one of his little stoppered bottles. He popped the cork, held his nose, and drained it in one swallow. He shivered and looked like he might throw up for a moment, then he shook his head quickly and let out a sigh. "That's a bit better." He said as he put the empty bottle away, making a mental note to make another of that particular potion later. "Where are we, how did I get here, and what day is it?" He asked, getting back to business. |

"We are in a cave in ten miles west of the Village of Elders," Amy said, "I brought you here and I hope you have all your supplies ready. The sun is about to set and we move as soon as night falls." She muttered several words and casted a weak magical barrier around themselves, making it hard for any unwanted people to see them. She unfolded a piece of paper and handed it to the fox. It was a detailed map of the city, both above ground and underground. Arrows and lines were drawn, marking a variety of stuff needed for this mission, such as which street saves time, or which gate is less guarded. "Memorize it," she ordered, "it will come in handy." |
