Tetroneaque came awake when the boat came to rest on the shore near the woods. He yawned, stretching a bit before he got up and left the boat. The Mage Clan agent who had brought him here didn't appear to be about, which really wasn't surprising to him. There were some supplies waiting for him though, some dried meats and fruits, flat bread, and a skin of water and another of wine. He took the supplies and stepped off the boat, only to witness the boat vanish as he was on shore.

"That trick again. Oh well, what ever makes them happy." He stated with a resigned shrug. He adjusted the supplies to a more comfortable position to carry them and set off into the woods. He needed to meet up with the Mage Clans contact at the Elvish Capital, then they were to move on to the village of the elders to complete the mission. He was glad he hadn't been given a time frame, which meant he could take as long as he needed to gather replacement ingredients from he various herbs of the forest to make his potions and poisons. He wouldn't need to feel rushed at all, and it was actually enjoyable to be out in the woods on such a fine day. He felt... at home. Tetroneaque's steps were as light and easy as any elf's, having grown up in the forests around his home and loving the outdoors. He took out a strip of the dried meat and a piece of the the flat bread to munch on for breakfast as he walked.

"At least I won't have to worry too much about those blasted Necropolites out here." He said to himself with a chuckle and moved deeper into the woods.

Amy yawned and got up. She looked around at the surrounding and was immediately confused. The last time she remembered, she was walking along the a stream near Kiro, but how did she end up here? In the forest? This wasn't the first time however, there has been other times when she ended up somewhere away from where she started. And she doesn't remember anything about it. It feels that there is a blank spot in memory.

She got up and grabbed her belongings. Where am I? she thought to herself. The forest was huge, and if she wanted to get out of here, she needed to know where she is. This place isn't that familiar, since she never ventured this deep into the forest before. And to make matters worse, her head was hurting very badly and she could barely think.

Amy sighed and walked out of the area she was in. She needed to find a town or a village, and from there maybe she could find her way out............

( OOC: The two Amy's are technically the same person right? Do they look the same? )

Tetroneaque was humming to himself as he picked various plants and herbs, and a good amount of mushrooms. He planned on turning most of these items into his potions and poisons, since his supply was drained from his last assassination and escape. The rest were simply something that would taste good in his cooking. It was a good thing he knew the difference between the types.

The Kitsune continued his trek, periodically stopping to sniff the air for anyone that might be out there with him. He didn't need any elf patrols finding him out here in their forest, they were always rather... sensitive about trespassers in their woods. During one such sniffing his nostrils picked up a somewhat familiar scent.

"Huh, that smells similar to the agent... but different somehow. I'd better check it out anyway." He said to himself and stealthily made his way toward the source of the scent.

(OOC: They are the same person, except they have two personalities. The "dark" Amy has no emotion and has white hair. Other than that, they look pretty much the same.)

Amy continued to walk and her headache was becoming worse. She had already crashed into a tree twice and there where several bruises on her arms and legs. She heard movement in the woods, but didn't know if it was her mind playing tricks on her or if there was an actual person there. She didn't mind it and continued forward.

Suddenly three elvish scouts jumped out and surrounded her. Amy knew she is in trouble. The elves welcomed no one, especially wizards who don't practice green magic. And worse, they usually attacked first and ask questions later. Before the scouts could charge, Amy unleashed a beam of bright light that temporarily stunned the guards. Then she took off.

Several arrows flew past her but most of them missed. One however hit her in left arm and the pain caused Amy to trip over a large branch and twist her ankle. There was no time to heal and despite the pain in her arm and ankle, she continued. She knew the scouts would recover very soon and would chase her down.

After what seemed like an eternity, Amy dragged herself into a small clearing surrounded by trees and bushes. She sat down and used some of the healing magic she knew to clear the bruises and cuts. She also managed to relocate her ankle, but it was still swollen. Then, the arrow wound caught her eye.

She pulled out the arrow and examined it. The area around the wound was already swollen and turning black. Poison, she thought to herself. And Amy isn't familiar with this type of poison. She tried some healing spells but it didn't work. Clutching her wound, Amy got up and began walking out of the clearing. She barely walked two feet before collapsing on the ground. She tried getting up but her arms and legs wasn't responding. The poison must've paralyzed her nerves.

Slowly, consciousness slipped away from Amy.

Tetroneaque watched the girl from a distance. She certainly looked the same as the Mage Clan agent... except her hair was a different color. Her scent was nearly identical, just different somehow. He wondered if this really was the same person. He simply contented himself to watching from the shadows for a bit as he followed her. He spotted the elvish scouts long before the girl did, their smell gave them away even though it was masked with the natural woody scent of the forest. He watched, wanting to see what skills this girl had if she was indeed the same one.

He watched the attack but didn't intervene, knowing himself to be no match for four at once. He didn't call out a warning either, lest he give himself away.

He was a bit startled when the girl released a blast of light, his mask shielded the worst from his eyes and the fact she wasn't facing him lessened it a bit as well. It still made him blink his eyes for a few moments to clear the spots though, the elves must have been damn near blind being so close to the focal point. That didn't stop them from launching arrows at the fleeing girl though.

He watched as she nearly escaped, wincing as he saw an arrow score a lucky hit. He continued to watch her, hopping from tree branch to tree branch. She stopped for a bit and healed herself a bit, she seemed to be having a bit of trouble with the wound on her arm though. It was kind of hard to tell from his position in the tree though. It didn't seem the elves would be following any time soon so he risked breaking cover once the girl passed out.

He dragged her body away, lacking the strength to simply carry her.

"Why am I even bothering?" He asked himself, shaking his head. He wasn't even sure she was the same girl from the boat.

There was a small game trail he took her down, making their tracks quite a bit less obvious. He did his best to mask the rest of their tracks, which wasn't easy. Soon he came to small cave that seemed to have been abandoned for awhile, as the smell of bears was weak. Which meant they likely wouldn't be bothered while resting there. He strew out some small twigs and dry leaves near the entrance to make noise if anyone approached.

After all that he finally got to looking at the girl's wound. It wasn't pretty. He removed his mask to get a better look, the dim light in the cave not affecting his vision though. He grimaced at the sight of the wound and wrinkled his nose at the smell. It was obviously tainted with a poison and needed to be cleaned immediately or she might lose her whole arm. He sighed to himself again, wondering why he was being so nice today, and then started to suck the poison out. He was careful not to swallow any, as poisoning himself would only kill them both. He spit the tainted fluid out of the way. He recognized the poison as 'rotbark'. A type of tree bark that when ground up and mixed with fetid swamp water could cause quite a potent toxin, capable of paralyzing an enemy and sending them into shock. It was a nasty, but effective poison. He rarely used it as he thought it was a bit cruel, causing a lot of pain before killing the victim.

He got as much of the poison out of her as he safely could and then rummaged through the ingredients he'd been gathering earlier. He knew he had the items to make an antidote to the poison. He just hoped he wouldn't be too late after all this effort on his part. He placed a rather large purple mushroom off to one side, along with some white leaves that smelled rather sweet, and some small green berries. Each was poisonous in their own right, but put together made a powerful antidote... though had a horrible taste.

He pulled one of the small vials from his robe and placed a small sliver of the mushroom in it. Then squeezed the leaves of the bit of moisture they had, letting it drip into the vial. The liquid changed from clear to lavender as it contacted the fungi, the expected result. Next he added three of the berries, making sure their skin wasn't broken. He put the cork in the top of the vial and shook it vigorously for a minute or so, until the mixture changed to a vibrant orange. He popped the cork and nodded his head as the smell hit him, it smelled terrible.

He pulled the unconscious girl toward him and tilted her head back as he slowly poured the mixture into her mouth. He rubbed her throat gently as he did so, making sure she swallowed the foul tasting mixture down to the last drop. He noticed her breathing started to become more even and the black color around her wound was starting to fade already, returning to its natural color.

"Good, I got it into her in time." He said to himself. He reached into his robe and took out some other supplies. He still had one small vial of his special healing salve left and some of the bandages from the inn. He soaked one of the bandages with the salve and then wrapped it around her wounded arm, as it would help it heal much faster and prevent it getting infected. He was glad there wasn't anything in the wound that he needed to remove first, he hated poking around in open wounds like a surgeon. After that was taken care of he put his mask back on and went about sorting his gathered items and making more potions and poisons. After all he couldn't bring himself to simply leave the girl, and he wasn't about to waste this time just waiting for her to wake.

He was glad that he had his supply of potions and poisons nearly fully restocked, he still needed to make a few more but lacked the ingredients. Hopefully he'd find the needed items on the way to his target location, but that would have to wait as he heard a soft moaning from behind him and noticed the girl was regaining consciousness.

"Good you're awake. That means you won't die from the poison those elves shot you with. I was starting to worry the antidote I force fed you wasn't going to work." He said bluntly.

Amy slowly woke up, though her head was still buzzing and her arm felt numb. She opened her eyes and looked around. She was in an abandoned cave somewhere in the forest. Had the elves brought her here? It didn't seem like it, or else she would've been bound. It must have been someone else....but who?

"Good you're awake. That means you won't die from the poison those elves shot you with. I was starting to worry the antidote I force fed you wasn't going to work."

Amy looked towards the voice and saw a person standing there. She didn't who it was and wondered if this person was even human. "Who are you?" she asked.

"I'm the person that saved you, but you can call me Tetro for now." Tetroneaque said with a slight chuckle as he finished one last potion and capped it with a cork before inserting it into one of his robe's many pockets. He walked over toward the girl and knelt down so he could look into her eyes. His mask obscured his own quite well, only letting a soft green glow show through. He cupped her chin with one gloved hand and moved her head from side to side to get a better look and then released her.

"Looks like you won't experience any side effects. Good. I have some water if you want to wash the taste of the antidote out of your mouth." He pulled a large water skin out and handed it to her.

"So what were you doing out here all alone?" He asked as he knelt there beside her.

"What am I doing here?" Amy said, rubbing her head to ease the pain inside. "That is a good question....what am I doing here? My memory is a blank, I remember walking down a path near Kiro but when I woke up, I found myself here. I don't remember how I got here."

She got up, but her legs were still a bit shaky. She walked to the entrance of the cave and looked outside. They seemed to be in a cave located on the side of a small hill, because she could see an endless expanse of trees down below. Turning back she said, "Thanks for saving me, my name is Amy."

"Nice to meet you Amy. I would suggest you lay back down for a bit. That poison the elves used on you tends to have a few small lingering effects like dizziness and nausea even after the antidote is administered." Tetroneaque stated as he stretched a bit and laid down himself.

"You wouldn't happen to be a part of the Mage Clans would you?" He asked casually as he relaxed a bit. There was no point in doing much till nightfall anyway with that elf patrol out there.

"The Mage Clans? I used to be a student there, why?" Amy asked, confused. She was also a bit curious as to why he asked this question. Perhaps he worked for them? But Amy always thought the Mage Clans made deals using spirits. She walked up into the cave and sat down. She picked up her backpack and began rummaging through its contents, looking for a map of some kinds. She needed to get out of here before more elves came.
