Ad that was posted over at SotE Character Information: Character's Full Name: Oziren Valcor Nicknames: Oz or Ghost Age: Looks like she's in her 20s but is actually very old Gender: Female Faction: Neutral Race: Draco Physical Description: Click for image Oziren does not have a set eye color since it changes according to the temperature of her surroundings (brighter colors represent hot and darker colors represent cold). Her right eye can also be of a different color than her left eye however so as to not cause too much of a distraction she is able to keep both eyes in a light shade of grey. There are times when her eyes become very sensitive to the light so whenever Oz experiences pain she puts on a padded leather band that straps to the back of her head. Although her eyes are blocked she can still maneuver herself very well and even fight. Expanding from her right shoulder blade to her left is a tattoo of a pair of wings. On the top of her right hand there's half of a tattoo of an ancient Draconian symbol of her clan and on top of the left hand it has the other half, so when she puts her fists together the entire symbol is then shown. Oziren has several scars scattered all over her body but the biggest is located on her upper right rib cage that goes all the way down to her hip. It's a long claw mark from a powerful evil creature she once fought long-long ago. She always wears a black hooded cloak and/or a long piece of cloth that covers her head and half of her face (mouth and nose). Oz always carries a silver chain with a black stone pendant that turns white whenever there's a Draco or dragon nearby. The pendant (also known as the Sacred Dragon pendant) is the most important artifact in her clan since it is infused by the souls of the dragons ever since the birth of them. Oz rarely uses the pendant (only as a last resort) to summon an even more powerful dragon. Personality Description:: Around those that she knows very well she's very down to earth, sweet, and carefree. She will do anything for those that she loves and is fiercely loyal and protective of them. Oz is attracted to anyone with a great sense of humor for she loves to laugh and make others laugh as well. Her insatiable curiosity has often times gotten her into very big trouble but she has the knack of getting away with almost anything. Always open to new things Oz isn't afraid to experience anything therefore always going onto adventures and the more dangerous it is the better. Oz is pretty thick skinned so she can handle pretty much anything that people tell her and do to her plus she's also very slow to anger but when she does get very mad it can be very very scary. She is usually very calm and patient no matter what kind of situation since she always carries herself in a very disciplined manner. There are times when she can be rather serious, quiet, and even cold but that's usually because memories of her past (family and clan) are brought up in her mind. Oz likes to keep her personal life private and will only share it with those she truly trusts. Speaking of trust, she trusts very few and when someone betrays her they will be immediately cut off. Oz has her own strong beliefs and morals but she's not ignorant and knows that everyone is different so she is respectful and will not try to change anyone and will expect the same treatment in return. Her humbleness keeps her from boasting and will never brag about anything even if she really is better at something. In battle she is very courageous, focused, and if struck down she will try her hardest to get back up and strike twice as hard. However there are time when she can become very blood thirsty and would kill anyone in the most bloody and savage way, and can even hurt those that she cares about since she becomes more reckless and loses self control. In her infamous "Blood thirst" mode her reasoning sort of fades away and takes on a more unmerciful and bestial sort of mentality. The source of this frightening blood thirst is from the inner rage that she has bottled up inside from the death of her father, clan, and the absence of the only family she has left: her brother. It's quite hard to tell when she's upset or in pain because she's very good at hiding it, since she doesn't want to burden other people with her problems (which also makes it hard for her to ask for help). Oz has issues in expressing deep emotions (i.e. despair, pain, fear, and even sometimes love) and will often repress them and ignore them. Also, Oz is very simple and modest person and does not like to be the center of attention and if so, she becomes very uncomfortable and may have anxiety attacks. But overall, Oziren does everything with good intentions and tries her best to do what is right. Character History: Oziren came from a very ancient Draconian clan that no one really knew about since her city was secretly hidden by a surrounding mountain range. She grew up with her father and younger brother (her mother died when she gave birth to her brother) and had a very happy and healthy relationship with her family. The Valcor family have been the leaders ever since the clan first started and since she was the eldest of the children then the clan leader position would be given to her later on. When she turned into a young adult Oz went through a series of vigorous tests that challenged her physically and mentally but managed to pass them all and was granted the position as the leader of the clan. However, a few months later a serious epidemic had spread in her city where all the Dracos had weakened and become very ill. The young ones and old ones were the ones that were impacted the most since they were quickly dying. Probably the most frightening thing of all is that the females suddenly turned barren therefore threatening the end of their Draco clan. No one knew how it happened but it was all because of a Draco named Malvos. As the official merchant/tradesmen of the clan, Malvos would often leave the city to trade their goods. On one of his trips outside the city he met a mysterious cloaked figure several times. He never reveled his face but it was clear that his intentions were evil against Oziren's clan. The deal between them was that when Malvos returned back to his city he would spread the evil plague by poisoning the water systems and in return for that he would be promised a very high ranking position in another Draco clan. Eventually his lust and greed for great power had taken over him and the feeling that he had nothing to lose drove him to destroy one of the most powerful Draco clans. A few days later it was all done, according to Malvos' calculations, every single female and male had been infected so he proceeded to return back to a secret hideout where the cloaked figure was waiting for him and collect his reward. Unfortunately for him when he arrived the cloaked figure seemed very displeased because apparently not all the Dracos in the clan were weakening and dying for the Valcor family were the only ones not infected but this was because Draco blood runs very strong within the Valcor family. So, in an act of desperation Malvos blurted out the location of the clan (which was illegal they are sworn by oath to not reveal the location of their home and if that oath is broken they are hunted down and killed) so that he can kill the Valcor family and save himself, but it didn't turn out quite as well as he expected for he ended up being killed as soon as he told him the location. The next day thousands of soldiers came into the hidden city and massacred every single living being in that city as well as burning and destroying everything around them. Everyone put up a very valiant and powerful fight (especially the Valcors) but since 99.9% of the Dracos were already weak and dying from the infection they were just no match against the foreign army, so everyone died. As for the Valcor family, the father sacrificed himself so he could buy his son and daughter time to escape. Both went their separate ways and haven’t seen each other since that fateful day. Oziren is still deeply saddened by the death of her father and will often have nightmares of that day. She swore an oath to avenge the death of her father and her clan and hopes to one day to find her brother again to rebuild their clan again. Skills, Powers, and Abilities: In her clan weapons, armor, and martial arts are summoned/driven by their own dragon power that are made up by two forces "Inner Power" (inner energy, mind, heart, and soul) and "Outer Power" (outer energy and physical or the body). In her clan "Inner Power" is referred as Orenichi and "Outer Power" as Otanku and together they create "One Force" or Shoulan. However, Oz does carry the Sacred Dragon pendant that is infused by the souls of ancient powerful dragons and she will sometimes leech off from their power if she wants to become stronger (but her own dragon power alone is a force to be reckoned with) however she does not do this in every single battle. The more power she takes out from it the weaker she will feel after and will get very horrible head aches. Oziren was heavily taught in the ways of weapon combat, magic, and martial arts by her father and the elders of her clan as a young one. She has always done heavy training ever since a young child and not because others tell her too but because she pushes herself to be the best that she can be. Till this day Oz still trains and believes that there's always room for improvement and to learn new things that is why she turned out to be an exceptional fighter. Her rigorous training gives her the balance of acquiring strength, stamina, and speed. Also, she does not only train her body but also her mind and will go to somewhere peaceful and meditate for very long hours and even days. Oz plays more of the offensive role than a defensive but only when she transforms into a half dragon or use the Sacred Pendant can she play the defensive role much better, as well. Weapon combat: She is capable of using all sorts of weapons but prefers to duel wield instead of using a two handed weapon or a shield. With long distance fights she prefers to use a bow or small daggers. Since her weapons are summoned by her dragon power they have a distinct characteristic where they can glow or appear that they are on fire with different colors. These magikal weapons will not break or bend and can only be handled by her. Hand to hand combat: With martial arts she knows an ancient form created by her clan called Kyonku which is a fusion of Kung Fu and Bagua. When doing hand to hand combat her hands are capable of glowing or appear that they’re on fire like her weapons. Oziren's fighting style is very smooth and fluid like but although it appears that way her hits are very powerful. Magic: As for magic she chooses to use light and air (including lightning) types of magic since those are the ones that come most naturally to her therefore she can easily manipulate them and use them at their full potential in half dragon form and/or when using the Sacred Dragon pendant. Armor: She can summon her armor but it doesn't have that glowing effect like her weapons and hands. Although her magikal armor appears lightweight and fragile it will also not break or bend and can only be worn by her. Half dragon/Sacred Dragon pendant forms: As the sole owner of the Sacred Dragon pendant which is filled with immense power in return she cannot transform into a dragon herself, but she can however transform into a half dragon. In half dragon form she has the dragon wings, the irises turn into slits, her skin and blood hardens so wounds heal quicker, and sometimes she has the legs and tail of a dragon also the claws on the hands. When using the Sacred Dragon pendant to summon the dragon (white colored during the day and black during the night, a common trait found in the Dracos of her clan) it has the same magical abilities and physical traits as her just a lot more powerful and can play a stronger defensive role as well with that thick armored skin. However she chooses to use the pendant only as a last resort type of thing and would always try to avoid using it.
