Haven - Elf
|
Things happened so fast that Jakrah didn't know what was going on. One moment he was on a roof, then he tried to attack Akaron, then he ended up in a huge crater, his left shoulder dislocated and his ribcage broken. It didn't make sense; what happened? Why was there a crater? So many things was running through his mind that he didn't even feel the pain. It wasn't until several elvish soldiers pulled him up did Jakrah return to the real world. They took him to a cleric nearby, who inspected his wound and said, "Nothing serious. I can patch you up in a second. But its good you rest for a month before going back on duty." Jakrah didn't really pay attention and just nodded. After several minutes, he left the cleric, feeling a bit dazed but his arm were fixed. He still felt tired and his lungs were aching (he was pretty sure most of his ribs had yet recovered). He walked up to a archer and asked, "What happened?" "The Haven reinforcements have arrived. The goblins are now on full retreat," the archer replied. Jakrah nodded and left. He needed to find the commander of the remaining forces and report, before he goes on leave for a month to rest. Necropolis - Wraith
|
Together with the remaining goblins, Sendokaze left the city. The mission was a success, not only had he acquired the book but he also laid waste to An-Havva, the capital of the elves and a symbol of the Haven's power. Hellron would be proud if he was here to witness this. But Hellron did witness this, for Hellron is everyone. And he is pleased, Sendokaze can feel it. Since most of the prisoners and loot had been taken out of the city, the retreating force had nothing to worry about. But Sendokaze wasn't done yet, he isn't going to let the Haven have the last laugh. "Torches," he said in a dry voice, "burn all behind you. Leave no tree behind." The goblins understood perfectly and immediately began to throw torches at the trees, creating a huge fire. Laughing cruelly, Sendokaze rode forward and the rest of the army began to move. Behind them, the forest burned. Sendokaze had waited a long time for this, at last the might Fyndhorn Forest is no more. It will be gone, the elves along with it. |

By the time Viclo was tired, the goblins were in retreat. The city was in ruins, but it could be rebuilt. It was the loss of life that was horrible. Viclo changed back to human form and looked around, weary from battle. He saw the massive amounts of injured and dying laying around him. One of Viclo's arms had a deep gash in it and one of his ribs felt like it was broken. A healer came over to heal him, but Viclo pushed him away. "Go attend to those who need it most." "I will, but at least let me fix your rib. There could be permanent damage." Viclo sighed and relented. HE sat there patiently while the healer worked on him. "It's fixed, but go easy for at least a week." The healer said and walked off to the rest of the injured. Viclo just stood there and surveyed the remains, until he started to smell something burning. He looked for the source, and to his horror, the forest was being burnt. He stated running to find the commander and yelling at everyone he passed. "WATER, GET WATER AND WATER MAGES! THEIR BURNING THE FOREST!" Viclo reached the commander, out of breath, and had to stop a moment to catch his breath. "Sir, the forest is burning, we need water and any water mages, to stop the fire." Viclo saw the commander considering it and Viclo waited for the commanders decision. ((I think this would be a good time to use the NPC account.) |

Commander Eldamari was overseeing the movement of the wounded when a Ranger ran up to him and told him the forest was on fire. At first he didn't believe it, but then he smelled smoke and turned to see hundreds of trees on fire. So he was telling the truth after all. Eldamari turned around and yelled, "THE FOREST IS BURNING! ALL WATERMAGES COME WITH ME TO THE FOREST!" |

Haven - Elf

Jakrah had just finished talking to the commanders about his leave when he heard panicking voices shout about fires. He turned around and saw that indeed the forest was on fire. Water mages and elves were running all over the place, trying to put out the flames. A soldier ran up to Jakrah and said, "Sir, the Necropolis army is in full retreat, but they have set fire to the trees to cover up their escape. What should we do?" Now Jakrah was faced with a tough decision. He can either send all his forces to attack and destroy the Necropolis army or he can order all his troops to save the forest. If he sends them to attack Sendokaze, he can end the war faster but he will loose the forest. There was no time to think and Jakrah said, "Save the forest." The soldier nodded and ran off. Sendokaze would have to come at a later time. Jakrah cannot allow Fyndhorn Forest to be destroyed. The Necropolis would pay for this treachery sooner or later. |
