Haven - Elf
|
Terona is a land filled with different types of mana and elements. With each type of mana there is a different type of magic affiliated with it. Mages tend to control one or two kinds of elements but the strongest can control all seven elements. Light: Typical light magic includes healing, blocking damage, and blinding opponent. Light often also includes sending a concentration of light energy or white mana beam at an opponent. Light users often draw their powers from the sun or any source of light, though skilled users can draw power even in the darkest places. Earth: Earth magic involves moving the ground, controlling nature, giving life (only the strongest can do this), and strength/stamina. Earth users can also shoot beams of green mana at the enemy. Typical Earth magic users tend to be very strong, even if they don't look like it. Most earth magic users draw their energy from the earth or the forest, or both. Elves use earth magic more than any other type. Fire: Fire is one of the strongest elements as well as one of the hardest ones to control. Fire can range from calling dragons to aid you in battle to shooting fireballs to launching devastating flame waves. Fire can be channeled into weapons by special magic or item, which cannot be done with earth. Fire users draws their energy from the red mana the mountains provide, from fire, and sometimes the sun. Rage is also a key factor is using fire magic. Water: Water is another strong element and is the opposite of fire. Water users can manipulate water, create fog and illusions, and also call upon water animals (such as drakes). Like fire, water can be channeled into weapons or other items. The only thing that can supply water users with energy is water. Ice: Ice is a sub-element of water. It is considered one of the weakest forms of magic but at the same time it is also easy to master. Ice users can only control ice and can communicate with ice based monsters (yetis, snow monsters, etc.). Ice can also be channeled into weapons or items. What makes ice easy to control is that it can draw power from both ice and water. Air: Air magic allows the user to control the wind, whether its to attack an opponent, speed things up, or slow things down. Air magic also enables the user to fly. The air we breathe and wind can supply an air user with energy and power. Dark: Dark magic is the hardest to control and master. Typical dark magic is very powerful, yet it tends to hurt the user as well. Dark magic includes using dark mana to attack, manipulating the shadows, necromancy, and stealth. Dark magic users draws energy from the swamps, but most of the time, their jealousy, greed, selfishness, and the lust of power can power them up. |
