The seven artifacts of power legend tells us is called the Cylix. There are seven of them in total, one for each element. The Cylixes were created during the Great War, a war between Gods and Demons. The archangel Cynthia used rare power stones and powerful magic found in the slow-time rifts of Crandor to construct it. The result was a weapon so powerful, it struck fear in the hearts of the gods. Each Cylix was capable to completely controlling an element and if the seven was used together, it could destroy the entire world. The gods did not intend to ever use this weapon, but when the demons marched to Heaven itself, the gods had no choice. The angel Cynthia volunteered to test out the weapon. And so, she battled the dark god Hellron for three days and three nights. Even the power of the Cylixes wasn't enough to stop him. In the end, Cynthia combined the seven Cylixes into one and fused it into herself. She then ignited the full force of the Cylixes, consuming Hellron and herself. Hellron was severely wounded and was banished to hell but Cynthia was killed in the process. What remains of her bodies was placed into the Haven Tower. The Cylixes were passed onto the mortals, as gifts to them by the gods for fighting against hell. At first, they worshiped it as religious icons and viewed it as a sign of Heaven's power. But power the Cylixes command is too much for the kings of old to bear. Encouraged by Necropolis spies and agents, the kings of mortals began fighting each other for control of the Cylixes. Those who possess the Cylixes used them, wiping entire armies or even whole kingdoms. Word of the conflict reached the gods, who was angered by this. They took all the Cylixes and hid them in different parts of the world, making sure they would never fall into the wrong hands. The Cylixes were gone forever. The Cylixes: The Cylix of Heaven: The Cylix of Heaven is a gold chain with a silver angel hanging from it. It gives the user unlimited supply of white mana and the ability to control light. The user can heal, manipulate light, and call upon light affiliated creatures, such as unicorns and griffins. It shrouds the user in a beam of light and offers protection from other light based spells. The Cylix of Earth: The Cylix of Earth is a brown gauntlet, made out of a mysterious crystal native to the island of Crandor. It gives the user unlimited supply of green mana and the ability to control earth. This allows the user to use earth magic, call upon forest animals, give things life, and the ability to speak to nature. At the same time it also gives the user unlimited strength, stamina, and protection from other earth spells. The Cylix of Fire: The Cylix of Fire is a red sword made out of red rune. It gives the user unlimited red mana and control of the element fire. It allows the user to control fire, call upon mountain beasts, and control dragons. Like the Cylix of Earth, it gives the user unlimited strength and stamina. The Cylix itself can be used as a sword or it can be transformed into a fire whip. The Cylix of Water: The Cylix of Water is a blue chain, worn around the wrist. It gives the user unlimited blue mana and complete control of the element water. This enables the user to control the oceans and seas, manipulate water, control water creatures, and create illusions and fog. This Cylix affects the brain, making the bearer more intelligent. The Cylix of Ice: The Cylix of Ice is blue/silver ring made out of blue rune combined with another mysterious substance. It also gives the user unlimited blue mana but not control of water but ice. This allows the user to control ice and speak with ice affiliated creatures, such as yetis and snow beasts. The Cylix of Ice is a weaker form of the Cylix of Water. The Cylix of the Sky: The Cylix of the Sky is one of the Cylixes that does not give the user any type of mana. It is a small round silver shield that has the ability to spin. When it does, it generates wind. It allows the user to control wind and the ability to control any type of birds. The Cylix of Darkness: The Cylix of Darkness is the greatest of the seven. It gives the user unlimited black mana and the ability to use any form of dark magic. This black ring allows the user to use black spells, control undead, create swamps, and manipulate shadows, as well as creating creatures using only black mana. It also shields the user from black spells and white spells. This Cylix is considered to be the most dangerous. |
