burst into life! an original circus-based rp! The year is 1892 and the setting is the country of England. It was at this time that the circus was at a great height in its popularity. One group in particular has caught the attention of the public. They are the most sought-after group of circus performers of their time. Some would go as far as to call them the greatest performers of the era. By day, whole families come to be amazed by their stunts and feats, as well as to get a good laugh out of the whole thing. However, in the wee hours of the morning, if one were to come across a performance, they'd find something entirely different. For, you see, the Goldmind Troupe has two different shows. Their "night show" as they call it is far less innocent than the day show. The feats become more dangerous, more risque. Laws and morals alike are bent, all for the satisfaction of the audience. Such practices are kept behind closed doors until they can pack up their tents and move on to their next destination. The mainstage members of the troupe are the ones to do the performances every day. They are truly the stars of the Goldmind Troupe, as well as its lifeblood. But they have their back-ups, in the form of the second stage group. These members have joined during the troupe's travels and are doing their best to climb up to the mainstage positions. Meanwhile, the more innocent members of the troupe do their best to keep things from getting corrupt, all the while keeping from getting caught.
