As the army of ten thousand goblin troops moved through the woods, one man stood as a giant among them, the Commanders second in command, Lord Akaron. Stepping out from the shadow off a tree, he was an intimidating figure standing at seven foot two inches tall, his interlocking full plate making clinking noises as he approached his commanding officer, Lord Sendokaze. Lord Sendokaze was dressed in double laired, wore black robes and seated upon a large pale horse. One might think that death itself commanded the army, but Akaron knew better. The wraith known as Lord Sendokaze was a powerful being indeed, and the look fitted him, but he was still only a wraith. Moving up to the small out cropping of rock that Lord Sendokaze had chosen to command upon, Akaron came to stand by his side. Looking down into the small valley they were traveling through, he now saw why Lord Sendokaze had chosen this as his command position, it gave him a clear view of the battle field and cover from any arrow fire that could come his way. Another sound decision from the leader of Hellron's armies. Looking up at Lord Sendokaze, Akaron gave him his field report. Giving a small salute to his commanding officer he began. "The army has met little resistance my lord and proceeds ahead of schedule. The few elven scouts we have encountered have been dealt with quickly and quietly, they weren’t even able to get a single shot off before our troops descended upon them and butchered them where they stood, no warnings ever reached the capital, they will be taken unawares. Its hard to believe that in just one year the army was trained and prepared to attack the elven capital, but then again, that was when I joined up with the army of Necropolis is it not?" Akaron stared down at the troops that moved quietly through the valley heading straight for the elven capital, and although no one could see it do to his close faced helm, he had a contemplative look upon his face. But to those who did look, he was an armor clad giant of a man, standing guard over his lord; for you see, Lord Akaron wasn’t merely Lord Sendokaze's second in command, he was his personal guard. Lord Akaron was the only man powerful enough to merit such a position. It was quiet a sight, a being who resembled death and the armor clad golem of a man who stood guard over him with a giant flanged mace hanging at his belt. A master of strategy and magic guarded by the greatest martial combatant alive, an unstoppable team. Edited by Akaron, Sep 11 2008, 10:22 AM.
