Maybe you already know this: When playing as Rouge The Bat, in the stage named "Security Hall" the robots shots her blue beams and if she get hit you she is bound by energy binds and you have to smash the buttom to make her squirm to get free, before being hitted by the yellow deadly beams.

Nerd question: why does the robots shot blue beams first? Logic answer: Because they are not very good shooters and the yellow beams are a very expensive, so they need the target to be steady to not miss it and waste a shot.

Sounds like a great explanation to me! XD!!! Sonic also can get caught in Sonic Adventure 2 during the pyramid stage, but instead of blue beams he gets grabbed by ghosts that hold him for a brief period.

I haven't played too many of the new Sonic games after SA2, but I know during the Casino stage of the Sonic Heroes game, almost every player can get trapped by robots using their tractor beams.

Well! That happens to Rouge and Knuckles too.
If you like grabbing you'll surely love what I told about Jenny in the other thread.
