Raiu was going over the stadus of practicly every part of the space craft that he was now captin of, a bit of good paranoia. He wanted to know how well these things were, he did want any of them to give out on him while he was in deep space. The info that the ships sensors were giveing him reported that it was all in manageable levels. 'Alright, fresh out of the factory and ready to go. Ill have to think up a name later.' He would definately think alot about that, he had to pay back the debt though so he would have to run shipping routes for the House of Darkness for a while. After that though, he was a free man. His eyes caught something interesting on the list, two military grade weapon turents, one on the top and one on the bottum. 'Something tells me that they want me to make sure everything gets there safe, cant disapoint them then.'

Terra flipped back her black veil. She hadn't covered her sapphire markings, but she needed some sort of disguise so she had donned a black veil with a pair of very high heels and a long velvet dress. Being young, she wasn't as tall as the older Vampyres who wore veils and though she could hardly run in these shoes, she at least looked older in the dress, especially since it covered the deceptive shoes. Her ride had been a bounty hunter who had been instructed to bring her to Malfios but keep her safe. She hadn't put up a struggle since she wanted to pay a visit to some old "friends" back at the home of the Vampyres.

Unfortunately, certain circumstances required she left early. She stretched her legs behind the curtain of black velvet while running. Apparently not many ships left the House of Darkness and she didn't want to miss this one. The long skirt dragged along the ground as she ran, nearly tripping her, but she took a moment to gather up the loose fabric and then ran harder. Positioning herself in the view of the ship's window, she first took a deep breath -and a moment to run through the voices in her head, selecting one and listening closely- and then began pounding on the ship's front, eyes wide with fear.
"Please take me with you they're going to get me!" she whimpered. It never failed to amaze her how much the voices would tell her.

Raiu turned towards the sound of someone pounding on the window of his ship and saw a vampyre woman around his age wearing what looked like a dress and a black veil. She was slightly taller than him and was talking with a word choice more befiting of a child. Whimpering? Realy...Still he might be able to get some money from her, or at the very least another set of hands to help around this ship. He pointed to the entrence of his ship and opened it for her, closeing it after she got in. 'First off, who is chaseing you and, second, how are you going to repay me. I dont do charity, the world doesnt work like that.' He could tell she was wearing murderous high heels by the way her footsteps sounded, by the stars! Those should be illegal here.

Terra visibly shook.
"I... I don't know!" She flung herself at the man and clung tightly to him. he wanted payment... she dropped to the floor and slowly unbuckled the high heels she was wearing and took off her veil and held them out to him, eyes hopeful and on the verge of tears. If there was one thing she knew, it was that she had to get off of this damn planet before someone dared to recognize her. She had her carbine with her tucked tightly to the inside of her thigh, but she hadn't intended to use it. "I'll give you the dress too if you want" she added shakily. If this failed (and her acting never did) she could always reveal her true identity. It's not like anyone knew that Terra Chiyou was a Vampyre. No one even knew about the Proprius Phazans anymore since they had all been brutally wiped out. Not even she remembered much about them. All she knew was that her unfathomable ability to take on any one of the voices in her head and act exactly as them was what killed them. Now she just did what she had to to survive, and her talents could be best put to use as an assassin. Sometimes she wished she had become an actress, but this was the path she had chosen and this was the path she would follow.

Raiu blushed and shuddered at Terra's hug, he didnt realy get out much and needless to say he didnt have a girl friend, hell he hardly had friends other than the stars. Sure her appearence was off when it came to her personality...Accualy that was strange. She seemed to be 18 but was acting like a kid half her age. He was going to ask her about that first but she then took off her veil and high heel shoes and that made him blush more, as well as her saying that he could keep her dress. 'W-why would I want a dress? Im n-not a cross dresser! And keep your stuff, it might give people the wrong ideas.' He was realy stumbleing with his words right now, damn it! This girl was realy makeing him nervious. 'A-anyway your acting a bit like a nine year old, care to explain about that? Im not going to lift off unless you tell me.'

Terra took a fraction of a second to recalculate. He was a lot less mature than she had expected, which was not good for her. He was also more perceptive than she had anticipated. damn kid. she thought, drawing a deep breath more to hide her embarrassment at being flustered than to support her ruse.
"A group of Vampyres are chasing me... a-and I don't know why" she accentuated her "emotion" with her head lowered and a hand rubbing the back of her neck. The cold metal of her carbine tickled the skin on her thigh. If they got into trouble, she doubted she should go for her own gun. If taking her veil and shoes off made the boy blush, hitching up her skirt would probably make him explode. Her maroon eyes traced the curve of the side wall of the ship. She had would have preferred a smuggler's ship in case they ran into trouble, but there were hardly any ships in this city. She hated the House of Darkness.
Almost as much as she hated lying to honest people.

Raiu looked at Terra for a moment and thought about her story, nothing snapped into place. Her story didnt seem to fit with her appearence and personality. She seemed to not like talking about why he ran into his ship. 'If you were chaced by a group of vampyres why would you go to another one in a small space like this? I could just as easily be one of them. I think you dont like what your doing right now, how about you stop lieing and tell the truth. Ill lift off once you do.' He was now looking at her like he was waiting for her to tell why she was acting like she was. He would be true to his word though, once she had told him he would take off and head to what ever destination that the House had put into his computer. He wouldnt put them past them to do that.

Terra nearly froze in dismay, but kept her body fluid. Damn. She hadn't changed her clothes. With a small cargo ship like this, she hadn't expected a pilot who was much brighter than what he was transporting, or one near her age either. Sighing, she stepped back and folded her arms under her chest
"Didn't expect you to notice"
The truth would get them both into a mess, but she didn't have to tell him the whole thing. Better he not know anyway.
"I'm just an actress who needs a job and can't find one. People don't exactly go to theaters these days, they don't have the money to waste."
She was indeed an actress who couldn't find a job. Not a normal actress, but still legit.
"I got involved with some... Employers that I shouldn't have and now I need to disappear." Also not a lie. She had been avoiding Malfios since she had gotten tricked into assassinating a mobster and got dragged into their fights when she was younger. Her only reason for returning was was to settle some matters with... well with more 'respectable' people.
"My name is Terra" she rested a hand on the wall of the ship to steady herself. She hadn't met any enemies on Malfios so what was making her lose her balance?

Raiu looked at Terra slightly like he was thinking about throwing her out as he listened to her story. It added up quite nicely but he wanted her to sweat alittle. Once she was done he smiled at her, his acting done. 'Thats better. Its true that the acting buisness is dead, which is a pity. Ill stay true to my words, just chose a cabin here, aparently the House thought I was going to be transporting people as well as normal cargo. Ill be in the bridge if you need me.' He started to walk to the bridge but stopped, 'Oh, my names Raiu by the way.' He then walked to the bridge and started up his ship, and before long was out of Malfios' sky. 'Lets see what the House put into the Nav computer...' When he accessed the nav computer of his ship he saw that the only planets in it were Ethos and Malfios, with only enough else to make sure that he didnt crash into asteroids and stars. '...DAMN IT! Damn the House!' He was realy pissed right now.

Terra was relieved to be let off so easily, but at the same time also disappointed that there hadn't been much of a struggle. It surprised her that there were cabins on board such a small vessel, but nonetheless she nodded and stalked off to one of the cabins. Inside the archway, she found a small, modest living space with a desk and chair, a bed with an old looking mattress, and what appeared to be a dresser with a mirror on top, but under closer inspection turned out to be a pull-out toilet and sink. She pulled the handle of the latter and splashed water onto her face. Once satisfied, she tugged at the hem of her dress, and the cheap fabric tore in a jagged edge somewhere below her knee, still concealing the gun but not tripping her any longer. She did the same to her sleeves and unclipped her hair, tossing the fabric and clip onto the bed.

She moved silently and efficiently through the halls to where the cokpit was located.
"what are you looking at?" she half whispered, hand brushing against Raiu's as she stepped by, Noting the frustrated look on his face. She stood on the other side of the console, looking at the screen that was so frustrating him and lifted a brow. The House's laziness never ceased to amaze her. If there was one lesson that had been imprinted onto her brain at a young age it was you couldn't be lazy. If you led the life of an assassin, you needed to be vigilant, leave no traces, leave no witnesses, but do what you must to survive and no more. She glided towards the front of the ship when a wave of nausea hit her. She stood perfectly still for a moment as the wave passed, but then continued to the front. She had to get out of here. Now.
