Name: Akimoto, Akari Age: 12 Gender: Male Height: 5'3 Weight: 105lbs Birthday: August 28th Country of Origin: Kouingakure Rank: Chunin Chakra Affinity/Specialty: Puppetry/Taijutsu Overview Akimoto is a nice person who has spent his whole life playing with toys and puppets. He was offered to go to the Ninja academy, and obviously accepted becoming a puppeteer ninja. He is highly respected in his village as he is one of the few puppet users in the village. Akimoto has a dream of one day training other ninja to use puppets like he does, Akari knows this is a long time in the future, but he thinks that if you don't follow your dream all of your life, you will never accomplish it. One of the weird things about Akari, is he does not want to be Kazekage unlike all the other kids. Akari believes that if he is Kazekage it will take time away from his puppets and weaken him, which is not what the village needs. Appearance Akari has dark brown hair that comes down to about to about his shoulders. He has mesmerizing brown eyes and a so called "button" nose. Akari where a dark green shirt that has a pocket going across the front incase of needing to carry something on a mission. He wears black pants with a black belt that he carries 5 kunai on in case his puppets are broken. These are only used in extreme cases though Akari also wears his forehead protector around his waist, just about his belt. Akari is normal weight and normal height for his age, being 5'3 and 105lbs. Due to working out everyday he also has a very athletic body and he can move around quite quickly due to it. On Akari's back, he carries his main puppet vertical across his back so he can easily slide it out in battle. The puppet he carries there is Kurushimi, or, pain. His second puppet is placed vertically on his back, being easily activated for surprise attacks. This puppet is named Ichiban. Both of These puppets are stored in black bags to disguise them as best as possible. Personality Akari is normally a shy type that doesn't like to get in the way or battle when it is unnecessary. Despite this, he loves to train and will do anything to protect his friends. Even though he does not like it, when in a battle, no matter how easy or hard, Akari will have his full attention on it. Akari normally is not quick to judge, and this makes him great at making strategies and keeping cool headed in bad situations. Akari is also not intimidated very easily adding to that advantage. Akari is always exited about getting and completing missions despite his shy personality, and is very sad when they fail or do not get completed. Akari doesn't get mad easily, but when he does get mad, things are bad for the people that made him mad. When Akari does get mad, he goes into a sort or rage and does things without thinking at all. The only times Akari gets mad however is if someone close to him is killed for no meaning or if unfair judgment is made by someone that could cause a major impact on people. Akari has an avid interest in puppets and has built two already. Akari is working on building his third one, but it is not complete yet. Akari has been in love with puppets since he was a small child and takes very good care of them, almost as if they are human. That is one of the strange traits of Akari; he treats his puppets as if they were real things. Sometimes Akari will even play with his puppets, putting on an act as if they were talking to each other and had a real life; of coarse no one knows he does this. Akari has a strange personality to sum it up, shy at times, and reckless at others. Likes: Puppets, His Friends, Time alone at his house. Dislikes: Bullies, Traitors, Chocolate Fears: Death, Failure, Monsters under the bed (since his parents were never there to tell him otherwise) Goals: To teach other the beauty of puppets and how to use them, to keep knowledge of his parents away. History Bloodline History (No Bloodline Ability) Arc For Each Rank Rogue Arc As a child, Akari lived without parent, he was raised in another family that didn't care about him. During the time that Akari lived their, he build two puppets that were worth nothing of course as they were made on house items. At the age of seven, Akari left the house as his guardians did not care about him, did not feed him properly and did not give him any attention. While his guardians were at work one day, Akari stole a bunch of food and stored it in a backpack he stole from the family. Once he did that he left and went to live on the streets with nothing except his puppets and the small amount of food he had managed to steal. Akari lived on the street for almost a year, collecting food off the street at night, and not appearing at all during the day. At the age of 8 years old, Akari noticed people his age going to a school of some sort with their what looked like friends. Akari one day went to the school to see what happened in there. When he got there, he was using his makeshift puppets to guard himself, because he didn't know if it was dangerous or not. When he got in, he got picked on a lot because he was scrawny and didn't know anything about shinobi or ninja's all he knew were his puppets. One bully in particular however, tried to fight Akari. Akari got really scared at that, but used his puppets to defend himself, of coarse they were easily broken, but they had stopped the boy from attacking. While Akari was defending himself, a teacher was watching. The teacher watched as Akari defended himself, and was taking notes on the kid. The teacher, who’s name was Kurodo, Ritsu, thought that with not shinobi experience, just learning with puppets the kid defended himself very well. Ritsu had known the kid from somewhere but hadn't known where exactly until the bullies got bored and left Akari alone. After they left, Akari started to cry. He hadn't done anything to those people why did they attack him? Akari was thinking. Maybe they were just like his old family, Akari thought. Ritsu saw the boy crying and walked up to him to comfort him. Akari looked at the teacher and knew that he was going to be a nice person. Ritsu asked Akari a lot of questions and had found out that he had known Akari as the person who was living alone on the streets. Instantly Ritsu felt sorry for the boy and offered to share his home with Akari. Akari refused though, as he thought he would just be intruding on the teacher’s space. Ritsu thought that Akari had refused cause he didn't like living with people though, and offered him a house of his own. Akari gladly accepted that, as he would be able to stay warm in the nights without intruding on someone else’s space. After awhile, Akari got a visit from Ritsu. Akari was afraid that he was going to take away that house at first but in reality, Ritsu was there to give him a lot of Puppet parts that he had bought for him. Akari was so happy at this gift and made a puppet within the first week. He named him Ichiban, or first. The puppet was made with a single trap inside his arm, that came out as a blade (He will of coarse add traps later). A few days after the puppet was made, Ritsu came back for another visit. This time, Ritsu invited Akari to learn the ways of the Ninja at Sunagakure's ninja academy. At first Akari didn't want to because of the mean way the kids acted to him a few weeks ago, but Ritsu got Akari to change his mind and believe that not all ninja were like that. Starting the next week, Akari would go to the ninja academy! Academy Student Arc The day before Akari went to the academy, he got all of his stuff ready to go, he wanted to be top notch for his first day at the academy, tomorrow he was going to change from a crybaby to a ninja! Akari packed his newly made puppet in a black bag, with the head sticking out so that he could pull it out in any sticky situations. On Monday morning, Akari was all set, hair brushed, teeth brushed, recently showered, everything Akari could think of was done. As soon as he attacked Ichiban to his back, Akari set out to the academy. On his first day at the academy, Akari had already made friends. They were all really nice to him, and seemed to want to know a lot about how he made his puppet move so easily. Some of them wanted to try it for themselves, but Akari obviously didn't let them. He had tried to explain how he made it move, but all the others seemed totally lost, so Akari came to the conclusion that it was in his blood to be a puppeteer. For the next year, Akari spent all of his time improving his skills with puppets and learning how to make them do more things. As he got them to do more things, he could make them do more tricks which got him more friends. Akari was happy he had decided to come to the academy. It had changed his life. Over the next few years, Akari had learned how to do so many new things with his puppets that he thought of himself stupid for not thinking of them earlier. Akari had put many more traps on his first puppet Ichiban, and had even developed his own poison that he had but on most of the traps. Akari had almost finished another puppet for his team, but lately he hadn't had time to work on it because he was doing so much training and studying. He was building the two puppets almost completely different from each other so that in battle, he would have something for each situation. Akari had, had to use his puppets to defend himself a few more times over the past few years, but people were starting to lay off of him since they could hardly ever lay and hand on him. Akari had never actually used his puppets to strike back though, because he knew that it could easily poison them and he didn't want that to happen. On the day of graduating the academy, Akari was very proud of himself. He had passed the academy in only three years of trying, which is the minimum amount to learn all of the skills you need. When Akari got his headband, he immediately put it on his head, proud of himself for coming as far as he had. Akari then went to look in the mirror to see how he looked with it on. When he looked in however, he thought he looked stupid and laughed at himself. Akari then moved the headband down to his waist, so it was still proudly showing that he was a shinobi of the sand village. Akari then said goodbye to his friends and decided to go home and finish his second puppet as an accomplishment of becoming genin. Genin Ar When Akari got home that night, he created his second puppet, Kurushimi. This puppet would mostly be used to cause less, hard hits. As Ichiban was made more to surprise the opponent and do many fast, light attacks. When Akari had built it, he immediately started practicing what he had learned to do with Ichiban on it. Akari found that it was different between the two puppets, Ichiban walked a lot easier then Kurushimi did, however Kurushimi's arms and legs moved a lot swifter and steadier. Over about and hour he got used to the two and was controlling them like normal though. Akari then remembered that he was supposed to go and join a team of genin, and immediately set out for the Kazekage's tower, both puppets on his back and fully dressed as his new self, a shinobi. Akari went to the Kazekage's office, got assigned a team, met up with them, and continued to train as hard as possible. It was never easy for Akari though, his sensei could never teach him to the fullest extent, due to the fact that Akari trained in puppets, and noone with spare time could train him. Akari went on various missions, catching cats and dogs, helping the elderly, etc... Akari really thought that his genin years were quite boring, as he didn't learn much, missions weren't exciting, his teammates didn't like him very well, and without parents to talk to, Akari had nothing to do. Then the Chunin exams came. Akari did well in the Chunin exams, losing his second round fight in the tournament. Akari didn't know if he was going to make genin, because he wouldn't be told for a week or two. Akari however, when heard the news that he did in fact, become a Chunin, he was extatic, so excited, that he built a new puppet that very night. For the first few nights of his Chunin years, he continued building puppets, until he had eight puppets, he finally stopped there, as he knew he wouldn't be able to control them all. Weapons 10 Kunai - On Belt 1 Roll of Ninja Wire (Will add more weapons as my character progresses and uses them more) Puppets Name Ichiban Type: Offensive, Defensive Height: About 5'0 Stored: Horizontally across Akari's back, It is stored in a black cloth bag to keep it somewhat hidden. Description: Ichiban is a human looking puppet that has only 2 eyes, each of the eyes have one hidden kunai behind them, incase of an attack. The puppets mouth opens and shuts, releasing a group of about 100 senbon, all dipped in poison (will describe poison later). The puppet has hair that covers the top of the head, all spiky and metal, this is the only part of the puppet not dipped in poison. The puppets body has a slot in the middle that opens up to a poison dipped sword that extends about one foot out of the body. The puppet also has a blade that comes out of his elbow if the forearm is removed. The puppets legs have nothing special, just used for walking mostly. This puppet was made by Akari Name Kurushimi Type: Offensive, Defensive. Height: About 5'0 Stored: Vertically across Akari's back, It is stored in a black cloth bag to keep it somewhat hidden Description: This puppet is mostly used to hold the opponent in place and attack at close range. It is a tall and skinny puppet just like Ichiban, however it has fewer traps that are more powerful. Kurushimi's six arms all have 5 blades at the end of the hand replacing the fingers. In its stomach, it carries a poison gas tank that can be opened and sprayed out of the small holes in his stomach. In Kurushimi's mouth is a long coil of wire that can be extended to hold the opponent where it is. The most interesting trap on Kurushimi however, is on his back. There is a slot that can be opened, inside the slot is an extendable arm that carries an exploding tag, and a small chakra sucking leech. These can both be used to give the user an advantage in battle. Name: Muzuyushi (Pincer) Type: Defensive Height: 12ft Length, 6ft Height, 12ft Height wings fully extended. Stored: In Scroll. Description: Muzuyushi, is Akari's only defensive puppet, and he uses it quite a bit. Muzuyushi is a puppet based off of the pincer bug. Muzu's frame, is made completely of wood, with a four cenimeter steel plateing over top, to cause for maximum protection and speed. It has a roundish body, with a small head, and 3 long pincers. Two on the top, one on the bottom. The three pincers have small blades every few inchs, so that if the puppet gets ahold of someone, it can be deadly. The pincers can also form a chakra shield between them, if it is ever needed. Inside Muzu's mouth, is a canon launcher. It fires out projectiles at speeds that are only visible to people with very good eyesite. However, it can only fire off two hundered projectiles at a time before it gets over heated. Muzu also has a hidden department near its wings that stores scrolls. In each scroll, is a group of weapons. There is one scroll of 100 Exploding Kunai, one scroll of 1000 Senbon, one scroll of 200 Shuriken, one of 20 Poisen Bombs, one of 2 nets, one of about a gallon of goo that can stick opponents to the ground. These scrolls, can be loaded into the canon reloader, and it will take them out of the scrolls, and fire them out of the canon once it is ready. Muzu also has a set of 4 wings, each that spreads up, when all four are up to the fullest extent, it will cover Akari on all sides, leaving only the top open. The wings leave about a 5 foot circle to run around in, leaving it hard to hit someone inside. The wings, although are in the shape of wings, are really just walls that are in the shape of wings. The front two legs of Muzu (it having eight in all, six for walking, the front two for hitting) are made of two long swords that serve as legs. Muzu can also fly, but at very low speed, and it can also only get about 25 feet off the ground, since the wings have a steel plating and are somewhat heavy. Muzu can also sheltor 3-4 more people in its thorax, as it is empty and used for carrying and protection, there is also a dummy doll of Akari inside the thorax, this can be used for purposes of disguise. All of the projectiles, and swords are poisened, except for the shuriken, as it was to hard to insert the poisen onto them. Name: Inago (Grasshopper) Type: Offensive/Supp Height: 4ft (Height) 2ft (Length) Stored: In scroll Description: The main ability of Inago, is the ability to move very fast. It can move fast due to the way its limbs and pieces are set up, the back legs are curled up, and can be sprung forwards, giving a big amount of speed, and there are metal spikes that can retract out of its feet, this can also be used as a weapon if Ina kicks the opponent. Ina has two legs in the back, curled up, knees higher then the rest of the body (like a grasshopper), two in the front for balance, and two more in the front for attacking. The puppet is made of wood, with a steel frame to give an advantage. The back legs have steel spikes on the bottom, giving tracting for travel, and a weapon if used to attack. There is also a line of 10 holes going down each leg, each shooting 10 kunai out of each hole. On the two balancing legs, there are also small retractable spikes, and also there is a net that can be released between the two legs, and sent at the opponent. These legs are used mostly for balance however. The front to legs are used the most for attacking. On the end of each leg, is a drill like hand. The arm is easily spun, and the drill bit spins at top speed, the drill spins fast enough to drill through the toughest steel, and more likely, your body. There is a drill at each hand, leaving two drills. On each arm, there is also a senbon launcher, it is located near the beginning of the arm, and shoots at a high speed, 1000 needles per launcher. The speed can be enhanced, and the aim randomized by the spinning of the arms. The eyes of Ina are also special, made out of glass, and in a mesmorizing pattern. They can reflect sunlight, and make it shine at a specific spot. This is of course uncontrolable, as the sun can't be controlled, but can be useful. Ina's mouth contains a poisen gas that can be released through the mouth and holes throughout the body, this poisen is the same used on all the other projectiles and weapons used throughout the puppet. The antenas and tail of Ina are made out of sharp swords that are hardly used, but are there and controllable if needed for close range fighting. Poisen is used on all weapons but drills. Bukisenzoku (Weapon Specialist) Type: Offensive Height: 6ft (Height) 1ft (Width) Stored: In Scrolls Description: Bukisenzoku is a type of puppet that differs from many others, as it specializes is close range combat, and weapons fighting. Like all of Akari's puppets, Buki has a wooden frame with a steel covering. Buki has a human looking appearance, except he has eight arms, like a spider. Each arm has a compartment holding a weapon, each arm has its own unique weapon, causing maximum damage. On the top right hand, is an axe (Picture at end) on the top left hand is a sword (Picture at end). On the next row of hands, is a spear on the right, and a barbed axe on the left. The next row down consists of a mace, and a double bladed katana. On the last row, there is another sword, and another axe. All of these weapons are shown at the bottom of the puppet. Buki also has removable, and rotatable joints, so that the weapons can remove and spin at Akari's will. When weapons are not being held, there is a small 20 senbon launcher at the end of each finger, making 800 senbon throughout the body. Buki also has a 100 kunai launcher in his mouth, sealed by a scroll that can be released at any time to fly out of the mouth. In the stomach of Buki there is a wire that can extend up to 100 feet, dipped in poisen. Every weapon on Buki is dipped in poisen. Name: Bigguhebist (Big Snake) Height: 3ft(height) 25ft(length) Stored: In scroll Description: Bigguhebist takes the form of a very long and thin snake that has a break in it's skin every foot. (Think Renji's Bankai) At each break, when it opens is a 2 foot long sword. There are 20 breaks, and a 5 foot long head, the head has a kunai canon in one eye, and a senbon canon in the other eye. In the mouth is a goo launcher that sticks to whatever it touches, and can easily glue things to the ground. On top of the head are many feathers and stems, the feathers and stems look real, but in all reality are only that shape plastic containers in which can be easily broken, inside the containers are poisen that can be used to knock out the enemy. Each part of the body that can detach has very sharp edges that could break the skin on contact. On the very end of the last break of the puppet, is a hole with a spinning kunai, it spins very fast, and is capable of digging holes if used that way. Poison Seisou Teiku This poison slowly over time takes away the energy of the user, hence it's name Seisou Teiku, or Energy Steal. If injected with this poison, over a period of about 10 minutes (say, 2-3 posts?) The opponent will start to feel tired and less active. A few minutes after that (2-3 more?) the opponent will lose consciousness. This poison is used in a lot of Akari's traps and weapons on his puppets, only the hair on Ishiban, and the sword on Kurushimi do not have poison on them. There is also a cure for this poisen, and only Akari carries it with him, just for accidents. He calls it Seisou Cureo, or Energy Cure. The potion must be used before the first stage of effect of else the opponent will fall unconsious no matter what antidote you use. Akari normally has three syringes of it in his belt. Kekkei Genkai (optional) No Kekkai Genkai Jutsu //As you increase in Rank, you will be able to obtain new jutsu. As you are promoted, you will be allowed the following jutsu slots. Genin - 3 D-Ranked Jutsu or lower, 2 C-Ranked Jutsu or lower. (Note: Seeing as we do not have an Academy Student Group to role-play, the 3 D-Ranks were gained during that time.) Chuunin - 2 B-Ranked Jutsu or lower. Jounin - 2 A-Rank Jutsu or lower. Kage - 1 S-Rank Jutsu or lower. The use of all jutsu slots at the time of promotion is completely up to the characters owner, please see Shinobi Ranks and Promotion Guide for more information.// Basic Academy Jutsus Rank: E Description: Clone Jutsu, Replacement Jutsu, Rope Escape Jutsu, Transformation Jutsu Puppet Reproduction Rank: D Description: By taking one of the chakra threads off of one of the puppets, Akari can slowly repair damages done to the puppet. By doing this however, it distracts some concentration towards the puppets movement, and the puppet will not have as good reactions. Puppet Switch Technique Rank: D Description: Using an amount of chakra, the user can swiftly swap places with one of the puppets at the end of the users chakra strings, some say it works by traveling through the chakra strings at the speed of light and swapping places with one of the puppets on the end of the strings Puppet Protection Rank: D Description: When the user's puppets are in danger, the user will send Earth chakra through the chakra strings and into the puppet. This will cause the puppet to be coated with stone, and very hard to harm. The downside however, when the stone surrounds the puppets, the puppets can't move. This Projectile Weapons Rank: C Description: In order to store and use items or weapons that the user would never be capable of carrying normally, the user can keep them contained within summoning scrolls. Puppets commonly have such scrolls attached to hidden compartments to produce extra arms and other similar features. Like the Summoning Technique, a small donation of blood is required to summon the items. Akari hasn't used this yet. Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppet Technique) Rank: C Description: This technique is the standard technique that allows Puppet Users to release thin strings of chakra and control puppets with them. This jutsu requires good chakra control and is a puppet user’s prime jutsu. Chakra Sheild Rank: B Description: The user puts chakra through his or her puppets and chakra strings, activating a chakra sheild inside the puppets, so that the user, or the puppet doesn't get effected by any attacks, since it is chakra itself, even most jutsu cannot pentrate the sheild. Sample Role-play (Walking into the academy stadium for the first time) Ritsu rushed down the hall trying to stop thinking about what Yuri might have thought. What if he thinks that I am creepy or annoying he thought. Once he got to the arena, he forgot all about it though. This being the first time Ritsu had ever been to the arena, it came as a huge shock to him. As Ritsu looked around, he saw that nearly everyone in Kumogakure was in the stadium, since this was the first ever academy tournament all the people in the village must have wanted to watch. As he looked towards the arena, he saw that there were a few tree's to one side and an almost desert looking place to the other side. Looking around, he saw the Raikage in a chair near the back of the stadium where there was a lot of shade. "Wow, this is huge" Ritsu said muttering to herself, unintentionally. He then realized that it was his turn to battle, so he stepped down the steps, into the arena feeling more butterflies in his stomach then he had ever felt before. As he walked towards the starting area, he took another look at his surroundings, he saw that to his right, was the tree's that he had seen before, and to his left was the dessert. What he did not see from the stands however was what was behind him. He looked back and saw an area that was almost like a lake, except for a lot shallower, perhaps just to get a short burst of energy for a water jutsu user. He stepped into the area where he was supposed to start; just waiting for his opponent to get there was making him even more nervous. I can't wait for this to start. As his opponent got there, Ritsu got nervous You can do this, You can do this. he thought as he got into his fighting stance. "You may begin" the Kazekage said. As you as he said that, Ritsu jumped backwards and threw 3 shurikan at his opponent, Yuri. Since he knew that they probably wouldn't hit, as she was busy trying to dodge them, Ritsu made 2 clones of himself and all three of them attacked her at the same time. She may be a fellow student, but if I want to win this tournament I am going to have to do it forcefully Ritsu thought as he threw a kunai in the cover of the clones two. (Since Yuri is my own character I am going to god mod her here) Yuri saw 3 shurikan coming her way and stepped to the side to avoid them. When she looked back planning on attacking, she saw three clones of Ritsu running straight at her. They stopped about halfway and threw kunai, she didn't know which one was real, and didn't know what to do so she just put her arm up and blocked the attack. As she did that, she grasped her arm and pulled out the kunai. Grunting with pain, Yuri threw the kunai back at Ritsu hoping to hit him back, but it missed. She then saw another kunai coming her way, but it looked as if this one was made of water. What is that? Yuri thought looking at the strange Kunai and moving out of the way. The kunai then exploded on a rock beside her, she looked back at Ritsu and "You really think that w-" she started but then gasped in shock as another kunai was coming straight at her stomach Ritsu looked as his water kunai hit the rock beside her. He saw her move to the side looking at it strangely and threw another regular kunai at her stomach as she turned around, is too late. The kunai hit directly on its mark, in the middle of her stomach, luckily it hit no organs. I did it; I actually did it Ritsu thought very proud of himself. Smiling from his chin to the top of his nose, Ritsu walked back to the waiting deck. "The next match will be between Kanta Nisharo, and Kurokawa Hara" Ritsu heard the Kazekage announce |
