Hi, I am Xan, I have been a fan of FFVIII for a long time, even to the point of roleplaying it all the time. I roleplay as Alexandra "Xan" Kramer, the daughter of Cid and Edea. On top of that, Xan is Ultimecia... stuck in a mobius loop of dying and giving her powers back to her child self. She knows her future and she is fighting to change it. Yes, I know it's lame... but I like it. My favorite character is Zell, my least favorite is Rinoa... sorry to her fans. I love Zell's honesty, energy, and open friendliness. Well let's see, I should talk a little more about me. I am 28, not young anymore sadly. I am a writer and artist, I use to work in housekeeping until I got sick. I love video games, especially the Final Fantasy series and worship Nobuo Uematsu's musical genius. When I got married, the lyrics to Eyes On Me was my vows. Well, I don't know much more of what to say so Hi... I hope I enjoy my stay... and whatever. |

Lol, Cross is how almost erveryone finds the place. The character is pretty interesting, it's always good to find another theory other than the damn "Ultimecia= Rinoa" spiel. It gets so tiring. I role-play FFVIII in real life when the situation demands it....it makes me such an irritable bastard though but it's kind of fun when no one gets what I'm doing ^_^. |

Hehe, I have my own theory on the whole "Who is Ultimecia" debate but it's only shared by a handful of people like my brother and friends. My theory is this... ~Ultimecia obviously held a grudge against SeeD, perhaps they wronged her in the past either by not protecting her or targeting her unjustly. ~Rinoa (I believe) once said a Sorceress without a knight turns to evil. This means one of 2 things to my theory, Ultimecia either never had a knight or her knight was killed. I tend to believe the later. ~Ultimecia chose a specific point in time, sure it could have been to possess Ellone but I feel she compressed time to see someone specifically. Rinoa fans would have this be Squall. I think she wanted to choose someone she knew from her past which I will discuss in my next point. ~Ultimecia knew Squall and crew, she was most likely at the orphanage when they were children. That could have been where Squall seen Griever the first time. I also say she was at the orphanage because in the future, her castle is where the orphanage is. If Rinoa was Ultimecia, she would have made her base most likely in Galbadia - Deling City or Timber. ~Ultimecia more times than not tried to kill Rinoa before the girl got with Squall. If I was Ultimecia, I would not compress time just to kill myself before I found the most wonderful person in my life. It would be pointless even if Ultimecia was suicidal. The list goes on but basically I shaped my character from that list, I don't think the To Be Ultimecia is actually seen in game unless it's as an extra role but she is still close by, simmering into who she is to become slowly. Hehe well it's great to see another Sorceress about and very nice to meet everyone. |
