Alright, well, I figured it would be a good idea to have a place for us to talk about this other than batgirl's Intro topic. :P

So... Er... Feel free to talk/debate/etc about it... ^_^

(I've got no idea what to say as I don't have either :( )

Well I have played on all of them except the PS3. The Wii is great if you love Nintendo and want to get a workout. The 360 is great if you want to blow stuff up and show people how awesome you are. That's really what I think about them in the simplest way possible. However, I will never get either one of them. I am a long time supporter of Sony and will get a PS3.

You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.

As far as I know, the large majority of 360 games are FPS or generic shooters... Is that right? (Apart from things like Assassin's Creed)

The only time I've played on one was playing Gears of War... And personally, I found it tedious after the first 15 minutes... The only new thing I thought it added was the Taking Cover system...

Well, the way I see it is this:

Most of the games that are on the 360 that seem like they could be fun are also being released for computer (Fallout 3, Mass Effect, etc). I already have an awesome computer, so why not just buy the games for that.

Also, Sony has always had the best RPG's ever since the old PSX came out, so I'm hoping the PS3 isn't a disappointment there.

I don't have either system at the moment, but once I've got some extra money saved up and they come out with some better games for the PS3, that's definitely the system I'm going to get.

My wish lists:

  • FFXIII - PS3, 360
  • FF Versus XIII - PS3
  • Kingdom Hearts 3 (no not 358/2 days, coded or Birth By Sleep :P ) - Unconfirmed
  • Star Ocean 4 - 360
  • RE 5 - PS3, 360
  • Silent Hill 5 - PS3, 360

As you can see... Apart from two games, they're all shared... And those games are ones I want equally... :(

No RPGs on the 360? Infinite Undiscovery, Eternal Sonata...to name a few.

Haven't heard of those... I was interested in the one done by the writter of FF8, until I saw a friend of mine play it... I didn't like the immortality side of it... lol :P

Never heard of them? Google them. Now.

They seem to be very good games, especially Eternal Sonata. I played it the the Anime Convention last year, October, and it's really good.

Eternal Sonata? Isn't that the game about music, Mozart, and fighting? If it is, I have seen my friend play it and the combat was impressive but the story made absolutely no sense whatsoever. C'mon a game about Mozart's life that involves fantasy fighting.

Everything you say is correct, Rag. As for the story, can't really say for sure since I didn't play from the beginning.

I thought the game it's self is very good.
