What I mean by this is that a member can contact a member of Staff asking permission to start a Club about anything. This Club idea will then be evaluated to make sure it's not unsuitable for the site and if it is approved, the Staff member will create a Joinable Group under the name of the Club. The Club's leader will then be set to the fonding member, and a private section will be made for them within a special Clubs section of the Garden. I will also add a public thread that will act as a directory of the clubs. Example Member A wants to make a Rinoa fan club called "Rinoa-Club" so he/she asks Staff Member B for permission. Staff Member B approves the club idea as it is not unsuitable and created a joinable group called Rinoa-Club, as well as private section for the club. Staff Member B sets Member A to be the club's leader. Member A creates a set of guidelines for the club, and Staff Member B adds the club to the directory. Clubs can be about anything that is suitable (i.e not pornographic or against the Garden's rules). This means you could create a club about Squall, Fate Stay Night, Ferrari's or Avril Lavigne if you wanted to. How the club runs will be left up to the Leader to decide, although the Staff Members will check up on the club sections to make sure none of club rule and Garden rules are being broken. Using the example of the Rinoa-Club, Member A might decide to have a thread for Rinoa fan art, one for fan fiction, and one for anything else. So, what do you guys think? Should we have them or not? In a week or so I will either add the system or discard it based upon the results of the poll. My general feeling is that it would add something slightly different to the place, and may attract other people to join. Edited by Rael, Oct 4 2008, 07:43:24 AM.

I have also set up a thread about how to create, join and leave a club. QUESTION - In the Listings, should I just put every Club together in alphabetical order, or should I split them up into categories based upon what the Clubs are about? For example: Anime, Bands, Character Fan Clubs, Final Fantasy, Movies, TV etc. (obviously, these categories as just examples, and if a Club doesn't find in a category that is already present, one will be made for it) Edited by Rael, Oct 6 2008, 07:38:21 AM.
