So, I noticed that there are a lot of topics about favorites on this site, so I figured I'd throw this out there. I know that I read a lot of fiction, fantasy in particular, and wanted to know what you guys, and girls, enjoy reading in your spare time. Here's some of my favorite books/series:

"The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan
"The Runelords" by David Farland
"The Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind
Both "The Lon-Tobyn Chronicles" and "Winds of the Forelands" by David B. Coe

Those are just a few of the series that I enjoy and would put toward the top of my list as favorites. As you can see, I really enjoy reading (there's 27 books and probably about 18,000 pages up there) and would love to know what you find interesting.

Hmm, favourite books eh.... That's a tough one. I suppose mine would be:

  • "Interview With The Vampire" by Anne Rice
  • "The Last of the Mohicans" by James Fenimore Cooper
  • "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" by J. K. Rowling :$

Can't think of any more at this particular moment :P

I've only ever read two books because I don't particuarly like reading, I find things hard to understand on paper, they are the Hobbit and The Romance of Three Kingdoms... I liked them both alot.

The hobbit was great, although I prefer LOTR myself. As for Romance of Three Kingdoms, I have wanted to read it for a long time, I really should get round to it...

I like to read. I only ever read before I go sleep. I can't really say what genre for sure but I've this book about a 15 yr old gypsy who gets involved in a illegal underground fighting club and finds out about the truth behind his "Hercules" genes inside him that give the amazing ability to fight. It's called Fight Game by K. Wild. It's a really good book! Actually I've to return it to the school library XD!!!

Hooray for ROT3K!! :D I too have been meaning to find a copy of it in a local bookstore, but I never know what author to check under since it's been translated and abridged so many times. I've studied up a lot on the whole War of the 3 Kingdoms era and would really like to read that.

Well, let me think..............

The Foundation Series by Issac Asimov
Sherlock Holmes series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
and a bunch more that just seem to elude me at this moment, I have read way to many books in my life.

I also like various history texts that explain in detail WWII, WWI, the Crusades, and English medieval history.

Cheers, eh.

You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.

For The Romance of Three Kingdoms, look up Luo Guanzhong. The copy I own is written by him.
