Proud owners of the PSP will be glad to know that Final Fantasy: Dissidia is coming out on the PSP. This will bee released in Japan, but as of yet there are no plans for an NA or EU release. But they better do. They should do anyway since DISSIDIA is an US trademark. Here is the most recent and best trailer (that I've just literally watched 5mins ago for the first time) there is. Shows all the clips from the first two trailers and it's subbed!! Here are two gameplay clips of Final Fantasy: Dissidia. First one is Tidus vs Jecht. Second one is Onion Knight vs Cloud of Darkness. The story is about the God of Darkness, Chaos, going against the Goddess of Light, Cosmos in the search of the crystals. To aid them, Cosmos sends out 10 heroes from Final Fantasy, and Chaos sends out 10 villains from Final Fantasy. So far the current heroes are: Warrior of Light - Final Fantasy Firion - Final Fantasy II Onion Knight - Final Fantasy III Cecil (just announced) - Final Fantasy IV (None announced) - Final Fantasy V (None announced) - Final Fantasy VI (None announced) - Final Fantasy VII Squall - Final Fantasy VIII Zidane - Final Fantasy IX Tidus - Final Fantasy X And the current villains are: Garland - Final Fantasy Emperor Mateus Palamecia - Final Fantasy II Cloud of Darkness - Final Fantasy III Golbez (just announced) - Final Fantasy IV Exdeath (just announced) - Final Fantasy V Kefka (just announced) - Final Fantasy VI Sephiroth - Final Fantasy VII Ultimecia - Final Fantasy VIII Kuja - Final Fantasy IX Jecht - Final Fantasy X In the trailer, you'll see Kefka and Sephiroth. What they say is hinted that Cloud will be the hero for VII and either Celes or Terra (most probably Celes) will be the heroine for VI. If so, she will be the only female hero in this game. It is also said that Jecht was chosen over Seymour because the developers wanted to the characters story to tie in with each other, and if Seymour were there, the game would require a slutty gunner named Yuna as FFX's hero. What I like about the game also is EX MODE. Characters will perform limits from their games in the form of how to execute it. Like for instant, Tidus executes Blitz Ace on Jecht and he must press X when the marker is in the grey box, just like in Final Fantasy X. Additionally, Onion Knight has an alternative costume of a blue-clad Luneth from the Nintendo DS version of the game. Cecil from Final Fantasy IV switches between his Paladin and Dark Knight jobs. Ultimecia from Final Fantasy VIII can fuse together with her Guardian Force Griever, as she did in the game's final battle. Zidane and Kuja from Final Fantasy IX are shown in their Trance forms. *drools* OMG!! I AM SO GETTING THIS!! Squall just makes everyone else seem to fade away...especially when he's fighting Sephiroth up that wall. This is like my best dream come true!! I so need to get all the other final fantasies =p. I can't wait for this to come out! The system looks fun, too. |

I don't like it, it will lack storyline because it's simply fighting based I reckon... I don't want to see all the Final Fantasy characters fighting as though they are in the Tekken Iron Fist Tornament... And why are they bringing out so much on the Playstation Portable? |

Because there's nothing on the PSP. Not any good ones anyway. This game will definately be one of the best games for the PSP.

I don't know what I think to this... The tidus video looks cool, but I don't know whether I would like it or not... I does seem very Tekken/Dead Or Alive-esque... I guess I'll try it and see if it ever comes out in Europe

I don't like the look of Kefka, I always imagined him to be more intelligent and the most evil character Final Fantasy has ever produced, in this he just looks and acts like a full on... Clown. |

I agree with Alonzo. Kefka was more intelligent but insane and more sadistic than any other FF villain. I also can't imagine Kefka in an epic fight like the others. Now I've been hearing some rumours about Tifa possibly being FFVII's heroine. If you look at the trailer closely, at 4:45 you'll see someone on the left wearing a miniskirt and gloves(?). But I think this could be Celes. EVERYONE is supposed to be featured in this trailer but the unannounced are obscured. PSP word limit... |

Due to what Kefka said (something down the lines of she's an old friend of mine), I think your right, it will be either female magitek general or the pocessed magic esper girl (remembering I have no idea what their names are due to renames)...
