Advertising; The Dreaded Term

On dA my last two journals abre both about the site, and the first has a direct link Currently, though, I am not intending to go overboard with the advertising, nor will I make a topic in CA's advertising section. This is because I want to wait until we have ten or so member, or the forum is a few weeks old.

Most places where we actually find people who would want to join do't allow you to advertise your site there, and so far I've had no replies from the people I asked to be affiliated with... Any suggestions?

But don't do it the international community will shun you. I don't really know any practical ways. I am more of a fanciful ideas that never work when it comes to advertising person. Still I will continue to tell friends and hopefully they will join.

When I got here, the only way I could see the forum was to join. So I joined to see the information on FFVIII. A lot of young people really like social content like you all have here. Making it visible would allow people to view as guests. Then when they are inspired to post they will sign up. Guests will stop in to get information on an aspect of FFVIII, and some of these people are just drive-bys. You guys could be really good at being the best source of information on FFVIII if you wanted, because the walkthroughs and FAQs are really, really bad, or incomplete I should say. Neoseeker has a bunch of crud topics with no information. So there is a need here.
