I used that technique with Rinoa, however there are some magics she will NEVER cast while in Angel Wing, so you can use them to Junction Magic up really high: Of course, all healing magics; Cure, Esuna, Full-Life. No green magics, (Haste, Shell, Protect, Aura) I'm not too sure but I've also heard that she does not cast Demi, but as I said, not too sure. Also, I'm not too sure about this but I heard that Grendels only drop Dragon Fangs up to level 20, so you have to keep Squall below level 20 until you reach the mountains where the Grendels are. Another trick I have is to get easy Moon Fragments (i think that's what there called) and Energy Orbs. In Disk 3, in Esthar, there is a guy on a walkway that will force you to fight an Enoyle. He won't be there afterwards, but if you run, save, then come back, he'll be there again. Pretty sneak-ay! Also, while on the Islands Closest to Heaven & Hell, equip Encounter-None and just mash the x button while running. There's heaps and heaps of rare draw points here, including Aura. On Disc 4, you can re-access the World Map by going through the farthest "window" on the chains to Ultimecia's Castle. Get a chocobo from a forest you arrive in, then you run across the water (yes, chocobos can do that, just don't stay still or they sink :P) until you arrive at the Centra continent. Waiting for you there is the Ragnarok! XD. The entire Card Club is on the ship, and you can get all your "missing" cards on here; you can even reclaim Minotaur if you converted him for Adamantines. I've got a few other tips and tricks but at the mo I'm kind of brain-dead, just got back from school :P. Nothing like school to drain your brain! |

I am not quite sure if you know this but Selphie has a couple of super powerful limits, such as Rapture (end the battle with a win, even works on Diablos battle). Well if you want to raise the chances of getting these you need to have slow and aura magic, as well as some good luck. Get into to a battle cast slow on the enemy and aura on Selphie, then get her slot magic going and just keep clicking retry until you get a choice of magic which is unlike all other types of magic and use it. I don't know if is really a trick but I guess it could be a tip if you are ever having a tough battle and think that a quick win by Selphie is your best plan |

Not neccessarily a trick but a tip. You can defeat Diablos much more easier by inflicting blind on it. So all it can really do is cast Demi and Gravija, whittling down your HP but never actually killing you. This'll set of your Limit Breaks and you can pound on him until dies. |

Oh! Nobody mentioned the Selphie cap! What you do is you open Selphie's slot just before someone is about to cast magic. The game is trying to get the character to cast the magic but since the slot window is open it won't (I've seen this on a Youtube vid and have yet to try it myself; however since my final party will consist of Zell and Selphie this time around I'll have plenty of time to try it). This gives you unlimited time to go through Selphie's slot; Rapture may work on some bosses but not on all. However The End will work on ANYTHING- Omega Weapon, Ultimecia, you name it, it kills it. I've never gotten the end, I was trying to get it during the Diablos battle bt didn't get Raptre or the end and forgot the magic trick-thing. Oh, and when running from the spider-bot, you can go into a café and it will run straight past you, though this lowers your SeeD points by tons. |

You can train your GFs at uber high speeds. This can be done as early as Disc 2 as soon as you're free to wander around the world with the mobile Garden. Just make your way to the Centra continent. Somewhere around there, there is a small path that you will have to unboard the Garden to get through. It's a small path surrounded my mountains at both sides. Go through this path and keep on going until you get to the desert. Here you can face Chimeras (which are quite tough to beat), Abyss Worm (gives 6 AP), and Catcuars (gives 20 AP each). Cactuars tend to run away almost immeadiately so act fast. Junction some magic to the HIT on the two characters other than Squall, who can never miss. Cactuars have uber-high evasion. You can get up to 6 - 46AP per battle here. |

Abyss Worm cards convert into Windmills, which turn into tornados, and is why I have Squall with 90 ATK on level 23. And, with fighting Cactuars, your best bet is to get Selphie's final weapon (Strange Vision) which also can never miss. And, if you have a GameShark, get Seifer into your party (he can't miss either). Oh, and a way to level up your GFs pretty quickly on disc 1 with low levels and without fighting T-Rexaurs and endangering your party, go to the Rinaul Beach and fight Fastifalcons to get 6 AP per battle. And if you've got a quick boost finger one Quezacotl should kill em with one hit :D. |
