Okay, to all current and future members; Who are your two favourite characters in the game and why? Now it doesn't have to be party members or main characters. You can even choose Cactuar if you want.  (I wonder how many people will say Squall...  )For me, obviously the top favourite going to be Rinoa. As far as game characters gp she's beautiful, freespirited, gentle and kind. Three things that make up a perfect woman! (In my opinion )Secondly, I'd say it would have to be Julia (wow, mother and daughter...) simply because I love the her in game story... The whole falling in love with Laguna from afar, meeting and sharing that love briefly, then never seeing him again... I find it heartbreakingly touching (if that makes sense ).I will also add, for similar reasons, Raine is very close behind Julia

Well I might as well be the first to say that Squall is my favourite character. Now I could give an in depth reason why, actually I can't, I just like Squall because he is the modern hero. At first he cares for nothing except "the mission," but through a multitude of extreme circumstances he grows and becomes entwined with the very factors which determine the course of his and others futures. Also, he wields a sword (well a gunblade) and that's always been cool to me. My second choice is Rinoa. Rinoa, is the perfect contrast to the rigidness of Squall, which adds not only depth to the game, but also a large amount of comedy. Come on, there is nothing better than watching a withdrawn person be harassed by a free spirit. Cheers, eh |

I must say I agree! The 'harassing' part is very funny! And I do like Squall too, he is by far my favourite FF hero character (closely followed by Zack...)

I agree as well, Squall is tied to be my most favourite FF hero (he's tied with Cloud), I just like characters who wield swords and are detached from the world. |

For me, hero-wise, this is my top three 1. Squall 2. Cloud 3. Cecil (although I detest his name) And I must say, I personally found Zidane, Tidus (at times) and Vaan to be annoying, and mildly frustrating to listen to/read... |

Thats the same way I felt about those guys, they just seemed to be to outward and it made them seem well dumb and whiny. And Cecil was a different name since most FF hero names are based upon the elements. |

Oddly enough the name Cecil reminded me of this old cartoon I used to watch called ReBoot. And then I laughed since that Cecil was meant to be laughed at. |

It was about this world called Mainframe, and there was Enzo, Dot, Bob, and Fong. It was a fun way to learn computer terms since it constantly used them and the world Mainframe, was surrounded by "the Net." |
