Definately Father and Son. On the Ragnarok, Ward and Kiros tease Squall saying he looks like his father, good thing he didn't look like his father. That would mean they knew his parents. As already started, the Moomba recognized Squall's blood and shouted Laguna, the moomba having known Laguna from when the older man was trying to teach it to speak. Raine died shortly after Squall was born, while Laguna was in Esthar. Ellone was closest to Squall, all the other kids called her big sister but Squall was the closest to her.
