Posts: 39 Group: Junior Classman Member #19 Joined: Nov 1, 2008 Blog Final Fantasy VIII progress	Okay I went to Cactaur Island and saw the UFO there but couldn't get on the island or figure out what to do with the UFO. I thought maybe I could get on the island by getting over the land and landing there by flying, but as I did that I flew into the scene that starts the battle by Edeas house. I saved in a new file in case it turned out I didn't want to start that yet. But it turns out good I went ahead and did that part because I'm too over-leveled, it turns out. I took out Seifer and Edea without using any GF or magic, just with regular hits. I had to reset both Cerberus and the first Seifer fight because I hadn't successfully got the Mugged items before they went down. So I just put Squall on Draw, and Rinoa on Mug and used Irvine to knock off a little HP with his gun until Rinoa stole the items. I'm still parked outside of Edea's and am going to try for the Edea card and reset if I don't get it. The rules are the same as in Trabia for the Selphie card and I just reset a few times until I won the card. I don't really get the Plus rules exactly but if I stick to the corners and defending I might get lucky again. I guess I don't need to go to Cactaur just for the AP because there aren't that many abilities left to get so far. Cerberus is new, but the others are full. Did too much hunting already.
